guys, meron na ko 2 units ng Uber cars, I bought 2 used 2nd gen Honda City's for like P200+ each and these month both cars earned 60k total minus overhead like driver salary & gasoline, so I figure in 10 mos. bawi na ako sa investment ko sa car

now, I'm thinking of getting those Chevy Optras or Aveo as my expansion cars. Vios sana kaya lang syempre Uber is medyo underground pa sa gobyerno, so pag napaginitan sigurado used corolla and vios ang huhulihin nila

ok ba ang chevy optras and aveos, in terms of maintenance. I really don't mind about the gasoline coz tubo naman eto Uber business

I used Uber in LA 2 months ago, nagpahatid ako sa Muscle beach from where I'm staying in West Covina, ok naman may libreng tour guide ka pa kasi daldal nun puti na naka-Saturn

    or pedicab para fit.

They're not underground, the vehicles have business permits. Uber has strict requirements and they do not accept B-segment vehicles like Vios and City the "minimum" vehicle is a Toyota Corolla.

Duda ako sa kwento ng TS. This is what I know too, I browsed their website and the City is not included in the line up and they should be using fairly new vehicles.

Sample vehicles listed in the website: Altis, Montero and Teana.

MODERATOR'S WARNING: winefit, please ensure that all the information you are posting are valid. Can you support your claim that 2 of your Honda City's are in the Uber line up?

Turns out that noone can fetch me from the airport tomorrow. Instead of getting bummed out, I'm actually excited cuz I'll get to try out Uber.

Hopefully it's a Benz that picks me up. 👌

Uber mainly operates in Fort, Makati and MOA areas. So getting an Uber ride from the airport will depend if an Uber vehicle is driving someone to the airport or nearby areas so best to hail Uber as soon as you disembark from the aircraft.

depende sa terminal sir. pag T3, mas malaki chance kasi may mga uber cars din sa resort's world.

i took uber 2 Fridays ago. from Ayala ave to T3, super traffic outside resorts world. fare was around P520 . but was only charged P220 cause of the P300 first ride credit. sulit na din. almost same or baka cheaper pa than metered taxi.

btw, you can use my code on your first ride so can get P300 credit. code: uberjejeje

Pagkaland ko, walang available na Uber, tapos pagkalabas ko terminal as I was walking to the regular taxi stand, biglang meron.

He arrived within 5 minutes, swerte ako dahil may hinatid sa T2.

Sayang bro CB, may nainput na ko na code ng ibang friend..pwede bang patong patong yun para laging libre? Hahaha.

i have been using Uber's service for the past few days. it is addicting cause of the clean cars and very courteous drivers. taking a regular taxi from glorietta area to solaris bldg would usually cost me 70 pesos + tip. with uber's current discount, it would only cost me 61 pesos. and they discourage tipping their drivers.

was able to ride a toyota fortuner earlier today. as per their driver, they also have starex, montero sport, mercedez benz, and 2 mini coopers on their fleet of service cars sana next time mini cooper naman mag pick up sa akin

out of the many trips i had using uber, only experience 1 bad service, where the driver was not familiar with makati area and kept doing rounds.

I just registered. My colleague convinced me so we will use it later. How much do you tip, do I include it sa fare?

I don't see any black cars around. Mahirap pala to use uber eg if you are in Alabang or some area that is not as high traffic as Makati CBD.

^^^ You're not required to tip, Uber actually discourages tipping. Besides, one of the nice things with Uber is you don't need to open your purse and take out your wallet.

I have been trying to get a car for over 30 mins but everytime I type in 3.0 surge price the car disappears. It is very hard to commute on a Friday night

We even tried grab car and grab taxi but to no avail.

EDIT: I was doing it wrong pala. We got our Uber na and it's a Vios. It even has a picture of the driver and the plate number. This is so amusing!
