medyo kampi ako sa hospital, first private nga sila eh, so paano sila mabubuhay kung puro promissory notes lang ang ibabayad ng patients

for me ang dapat na gawin ng gov't is iimprove yun public hospital, dagdagn nila ng budget..para yun mga walang panbayad eh di doon na lang sa publis hospital pumunta...

at the end of the day hospital is still a business....

I think in other asean countries nasa 8% ng annual budget nila ang share ng health care...

Actually, that's not a bad idea... pass the promisory notes on to the government.

Personally, I'm not sure how bad the non-payment issue is now, and I'm torn between the need to ensure the continuance of the business and the humanitarian aspect.

But in the end, every non-paying patient puts the life of a paying patient at risk... for the medicines the hospital can't afford to stock, to the doctors who refuse to work or move to another location due to lost income, to the hospital equipment that breaks down due to lack of maintenance money.

One of the better ideas I've heard... forget government hospitals... let government foot the bill for charity cases at private hospitals. The patients would get good care, and less money would be lost to bureaucratic inefficiency and mismanagement.

But the idea of a hospital holiday, just to prove a point... sobrang melodramatic.

it just shows that our gov't is useless, yun mga bagay na dapat sila ang gumagawa eh pinapasa nila sa private sectors....a good example is taxes...inutil sila sa pag collect ng right taxes so ang ginagawa na lang nila is taasan ang taxes sa mga tao...hayyy
    kailan kaya uunlad pilipinas?

From the main intention of passing the law to help people... But on the other hand, iba pala ang main agenda... What does sir Isuzoom says???
