Firing (or re-assigning) a stewardess because she looks 'old' and hiring a younger one, is a double-edged sword.

On one hand, PAL will be accused of discrimination because of age (and worse, because of looks) which, in the court of public opinion, is very bad publicity.

On the other hand, PAL is already being bagged for having 'older' stewardesses. While it affects somewhat negatively, the other option is much worse.

Put yourself on the place of one of those 'old' stewardesses. Tell me, how would you feel if the company you have worked for faithfully for 10+ years would fire (or re-assign) you 'because you look old'? Not good, isn't it?

Besides, choosing (or patronising) an airline on the basis of the looks of their stewardesses is not one a mature person would do. Most would probably choose on the basis of the price and service. Having good-looking stewardesses should be a bonus, not a requirement.
