Right now nasa Dongguan ako (about 80Km north of HK). Temperature is slightly lower(by about 2 deg) than HK. My monitor reads 20C (tanghaling tapat kasi).
Disneyland HK Toy Story last week.

We are planning to go to HK for the first time in April for 4D/3N. 5 kami kaso 2 are already senior citizens. Problema namin kung makakalakad ba ng mahaba yung mga senior. hehehe. Any tips?
For the air fare, I checked PAL, Cebu Pac and Cathay online. It seems Cebu Pac is the cheapest at around 10-11k. Yung Cathay nasa 15k na. Any other airlines that you guys would recommend?
How about hotels? Maghahanap pa din lang ng hotels and some places to visit.
Walking is part of the HK experience...better to find accomodations near the MTR stations.

As mentioned, find a hotel that's right above or just a real short distance from the MTR. Unless you're willing to pay a hefty fee for taxi (even if there's 5 of you it may still be costly), you really have no choice but to walk. I suggest just plan an daily itinerary that's not too tiring in consideration of the seniors. There's some airport bus shuttle services in AsiaTravel.com that's priced well, that could save you time and effort as opposed to taking the MTR straight from the airport with luggages.
If you're on a budget, you can catch a P888-P1088 base fare for HK on Cebu Pac that's just around 5k more or less each roundtrip (no reserved seats, meals, or baggage).
I usually check Booking.com for hotel choices. The site generally doesn't charge your card for reservation and it's free cancellation (unless it's not stated). Then I'd check TripAdvisor for reviews. Generally, you won't go wrong in getting a hotel in the TST or Central area. Good luck!
Careful if you're taking one of those cheap tours. They usually book you in the middle-of-nowhere hotels. And they'll have a mandatory visit to jewel factory....
Kainis yang jewelry factory visit pang ubos lang ng oras.. matagal na nilang raket yan..
My family will also visit Hongkong and Macau for 5 days by middle of April this year as a treat for my son having his 7th birthday. Last time we went there was in 2007, also a treat for my other son's birthday. We are lucky to be able to get the Cebu Pac promo and the total airfare for the 5 of us is only P20K but that is Clark-HK then Macau-Clark. Tried to book from Manila but too expensive already so I think the two hour travel to clark from Manila is worth the savings.
Di kami kumukuha ng travel agent para control namin ang tour namin because of the kids. Research na lang ginagawa namin and book in a cheaper hotel near the MTR in Tsim Tsa Tsui area.
