At $418 + ~$360(airport tax - that's how they term it),- that would be $778 per person.... Not bad, compared to what we got earlier at approx $1000 per person.... (Their B747-400 amenities are comparable to other airlines, as they have video on demand, games for the kids et al)....

May 31st, 2009 12:59 PM #30yung dating 418 promo to the US is now 668, excluding government taxes. What taxes are these? Isn't international flights not included in the VAT, only domestic tickets?
2nd, at 668+, if they add on the 12% vat, doesnt make it that cheap anymore, considering the dates for the flights are the low season period, so its expected to see $800 or so tickets from airlines like Cathay Pacific, which are mileage accruable, while PAL's 668+ is non accruable.Last edited by altec; May 31st, 2009 at 01:10 PM.
