Don't miss Gardens by the Bay.

I didn't like Night Safari. What did I see? Nothing but darkness.

And also if you're the adventurous type-- Geylang.

try to visit Singapore Zoo, night Safari and Underwater World. See the city from a different view on the Singapore Flyer. Hungry? Go to a hawker food market for something to eat. must try their local dish chicken rice & chili crab. There are a lot of dishes to choose in hawken village. make sure kaya mo kumain ng spicy foods. sa shopping naman walk along in Orchard Road.

If you're travelling with kids and they like wildlife Jurong Bird Park, S.E.A Aquarium (totoong aquarium with fish) and SG Zoo are all good choices.

i hope your hotel is not the type that... "the bath is over, if you drop the soap". harharhar!

geylang is like chinatown/bumbaytown in the daytime. it is also red lite district late at nite. may kabayan din...

first thing to look for, is the cheaper sources of food around the hotel. walk around, po. there always are.
nice thing about singapore.. it is safe almost everywhere. and engrish is ... passable. almost everywhere.

    go to:
universal (long lines! but you're/we're used to it. pinoy, eh..). one day may be enough, if the crowd cooperates.
    the museum.
those huge bubbled structures housing the beautiful airconditioned garden.. forgot the name. one day might not be enough if you're OB-C.
orchard road. not because it's cheap (it's not!), but because there are things there we don't easily see here. at least half a day..
night safari. dami tao! parang mrt natin..

    bring comfortable shoes.

    enjoy!

My suggestion since I went to Singapore last December:

Visit Haji Lane at the Melayu Heritage area (alleyway walls with beautiful graffiti art, also a nice place to have a beer or two)

Eat at Makansutra Gluttons Bay, a hawker center beside Esplanade Theaters. It has nice views of Marina Bay Sands

Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park

Chinatown, where you can see a lot of Perenakan shophouses (it's the Singapore version of Vigan)

Geylang if you want to be adventurous

    Orchard Road

    Sentosa Island, especially Palawan Beach

    Universal Studios and SEA Aquarium

    Gardens by the Bay

    Marina Barrage

The Makansutra Gluttons Bay is only a walking distance to Marina Bay Sands, the same goes for Marina Bay Sands to Gardens by the Bay.

Another advice is to buy the EZ Link 3 day Tourist Pass. It will give you an unlimited ride to the MRT, LRT and buses in Singapore for 3 days. Only use taxis from the airport going to your hotel and vice versa. Singapore's public transportation system is very similar to Hong Kong, you won't get lost once you use it. Also, I suggest renting out a pocket wifi. The deposit is refundable upon return of the pocket wifi. It is very handy.

Tama sila, Geylang kung adventurous ka, meron din hawker dun kaya pwede kayo kumain bago mag adventure. From marina bay sands, 9pm dati meron fountain show dun. Then lakad to garden by the bay.

If you got the dough, don't miss Brazil Churascaria at Bukit Timah 6th Ave. It's a seat down buffet dinner all BBQ. Great food experience !

Better diretso na ang Peso to S$. Bring lots of S$ then back it up with credit card.

+1 here. Bring Sgd na agad. Change peso to sgd para di ka lugi sa conversion.

If you plan to use USD, okay magpapalit sa mustafa area. Maganda rates nila dun
