away from the hustle and bustle of singapore big business.
no western fastfood here.. only fast cooks. tiangge-style cooking.
it's not air-conditioned in many areas, but one may not taste these anywhere else.
and if you know where to go, the price is right.

...was billeted here for a week.. something new to eat everyday...

^so OK din dyan for a change? haha.

anyway, may kasama na akong tour guide pagdating ng SG...hindi na ako mahihirapan, hehe.

also, anong telco company ang OK gamitin while in SG? I might use some mobile data while I am there (anong OK na promo para dito?)

U can buy sa airport po they will give u all the option. Range from 20$ including simcard and load. Singtel is quite a good one.. others telco comp lost signal while inside the underground station.

okay. yung SingTel yun nasa isip kong bilhin (sister company siya ng Globe di ba)

upon seeing their website, meron silang tourist SIM card worth $15 for 5 days, top up of $3 per day, with free 100GB mobile data :cool2:. OK na ba ito? [meron din silang tourist SIM card worth for 10 days, with the same 100GB mobile data, but with unli call and text and free access sa Facebook, WhatsApp, Line, WeChat.]

or I will buy a regular prepaid SIM na lang?

edit: hanggang Feb 17 lang pala yung free 100GB
ang dating ko pa sa SG ay sa 22.

Yes singtel is partner w globe. Kung heavy user ka ok naman ung bundle nila. Ask mo nalang sa custumer service sa airport, minsan pala meron din nagbebenta sa mga airplane, tanung munalang din sa mga crew kung meron sila. Parang mas sulit yata ung pang tourist na sim vs normal prepaid simcard here. By the way, they need your passport here once u purchased simcard

okay...I hope yung promo nila is extended pagdating ko sa SG. 100GB of mobile data is more than enough for my internet stuff.

I suggest you buy the Singtel Hi! Tourist sim worth 30 SGD which is good for 10 days. It gives you free 1 hour for international phone calls and unlimited local calls and text plus of course the free data. There is a limit though that you can only avail or purchase it three times using your passport. Hope this helps. ;)

    my experience.
the money changer rates in the SG airport were surprisingly competitive when i changed there some months ago.
overall, the exchange rate differences thruout SG are not really too bad. change anywhere, if you must.

Sa lucky plaza po halos filipino product yung mall na yun sa orchard. Marami money changer doon very good rates vs airport. Yung sa main entrance ng lucky plaza left side ung lagi ako nagpa money change.. although all of them quite good rates

No need to take taxi there. Their train is very comfortable and efficient. You can go anywhere using the trains.

yung mga hyundai elantras na yellow and blue ang most common.
maliit lang diff nung premium sa mga regular cabs.

if you have small kids or elderly persons travelling with you - yes mag-taxi kayo.
get a maxicab kung more than 4 kayo.
pero kung kaya nyo maglakad - use buses or trains.
