Pero kung gusto mo,pwede, You have to have to drop the trans. Or kung gusto mo na malinis talaga ipa trans flush mo.

April 4th, 2008 11:48 PM #5removing the torque converter from the automatic transmission is not advisable and may cause leaks and serious damage!! when changing ATF just DRAIN the transmission on its DRAIN PLUG.. no need to dismantle the transmission from the engine just to drain the torque converter.. there are shops offering ATF change using machines to thoroughly remove the old ATF...
even when buying a SURPLUS automatic transmission like in BANAWE.. always choose the transmission that have its TORQUE converter attached to the tranmission.. even mechanics when pulling down transmission from surplus engines they make sure that the torque converter will not be separated from the transmission..

normally you have a slot or an access point where you align the drain plug in your torque converter. just remove the drain plug, in my case allen wrench siya, and let the fluid out. you have roughly around 30-40 percent of dirty atf still in it if you don't drain it.
