Needs Help... Clutch Problem!!!!

Mga friends, pls help…

My ride is a corolla xl 1997. Pag po kasi inaapakan ko yung clutch pedal, masi-shift ko pa yung gear, mga 5-10 secs lang ok, tapos maglo-lock na at di mo na ma-shift sa next gear. At this time, parang malambot na yung clutch at di kumakagat. Dahil dun mamamatay na yung makina. Nu kaya solusyon dun?

Me maisa-suggest ba kayo na good mechanic sa imus area?

^^ i think hindi pa hydraulic ang clutch nung oto. cabled type pa yan.

Ang nangyayari po kasi e, if you press on the clutch pedal, it compresses, but loses its compression after a while. say 5 secs of pressing the pedal. Parang me hangin na kumakawala.

check mo ang fluid master kung may bawas at kung positive, may leak ang master cylinder or yung slave. Mura lang naman ang repair kit pero before ka bumili ng repair kit check mo muna ang cyclinder kung walang tama kasi yung repair kit will not work or last sa damage cylinder.

if may tagas na yung master or slave replace the assembly. mas matibay than the repair kits.
