so when are you going to tell the owner that there is something wrong with his car?
if i were you, i'd confess to my deed, and volunteer to have it fixed, at my expense.. "kuya, hiniram ko kotse mo.. may sira pala.. kung ok sayo, ako na magpapagawa. but kuya, puede bang hiramin ulit kapag ayos na siya? i-full tank kupasya.."
that should soften up brother's ire... , and teach me a lesson... that asking permission is cheaper than paying for what i probably did not initiate in the first place.

but back to the problem..
you said there was a leak.. i would suspect disk contamination by oil..
also, baka may sira ang clutch assembly.. basag diaphragm spring.. friction pad too thin..
whatever it is, it sure points to having to open the trans housing.
