no, sir. 280K is not cheap to me nor, i imagine, to many of the people here.
that amount of money can already buy me a good replacement vehicle. food for thought, sir.

The owner's driving style should also be considered. Even automatic transmissions break down if they are not used properly.

I can vouch for Danny of D&R Fast Auto shop in Sucat. This is the shop I go to with our old and out-of-warranty cars. They are quite good with tranny repairs. Mel Casaba used to work for this shop before starting out his own shop in Cavite.

Sir, our previous car was a Honda civic which is also an automatic transmission and we never ever experience a breakdown in transmission.

Fyi sir, we know how to use car with auto tranny,..

Thank you sir. I'll try to visit their shop this week and ask for an estimate.

Btw, is Mel Casaba still has his shop in cavite?

No idea, sir. You have to check with some Honda owners. They take the trip to Dasmarinas to consult with Mel. Our Honda cars were maintained by Mel back when he was still in Sucat. When he left for Cavite, Danny assigned another mechanic to work on our cars.
