Sir, our previous car was a Honda civic which is also an automatic transmission and we never ever experience a breakdown in transmission.

a bit farther than the boundaries of cavite, there's d & r fast auto repair service who specializes in tranny woes. they're good at what they do and they bill reasonably plus they've now got their own flatbed truck so maybe towing won't be too much of a side expense. at hindi din hassle kausap iyong owner na si danny. i can vouch for him and his guys

I can vouch for Danny of D&R Fast Auto shop in Sucat. This is the shop I go to with our old and out-of-warranty cars. They are quite good with tranny repairs. Mel Casaba used to work for this shop before starting out his own shop in Cavite.

Scary! So to be safe its better to replace ATF every two years kahit walang advise ng casa to replace? Applicable ba to sa vios?

Yes... 2 years is a recommended interval para change ng tranny oil para dito sa atin.

Applicable din sya for the manual tranny...

I agree, dapat talaga every 2 years magpalit na ng atf, it's better safe than sorry,
