Less that 4 years old pa lang po yung toyota avanza ko, A/T, 31k pa lang mileage. Regular po ang check up sa casa. last check up was last July 2016. Then last week, Aug. 08, suddenly ayaw na gumana yung reverse. Dinala ko sa casa last wednesday, i had it towed para di lalong masira yung tranny.
Please help!!!
Thanks in advance po.

August 14th, 2016 10:28 PM #2as you said, wala nang warranty...
consider replacing the entire transmission. it will probably be cheaper and less hassle. let us wait for other tsikoteers who will recommend their favorite sources.

August 15th, 2016 11:07 PM #4I think ang sinasabi ni dr.d ay instead of having it repaired, baka mas makakamura ka kung palitan yung buong tranny. He didn't say 280k is cheap.
If not, I'm sure may ibang option like surplus tranny., etc. Good luck!

August 14th, 2016 11:43 PM #7Maybe you can contact toyota. Baka mapagbigyan ka. Too early talaga na masira ang transmission

Most Toyota warranty coverage for drivetrain (engine/transmission) is five years or 50k miles whichever comes first. In your case, you have the service documentation in your favor. Write to Toyota motor phill or write to TMC Nagoya. Hopefully they refer you to the nearest competent service center
