but when i put the stock exhaust back..deym..ganda parin ng tunog.galing na sa makina, hindi sa fart muffler.
you still get the benefits of exhaust and headers on an a/t.
yun nga lang, at WOT people will know you drive an automatic - but who cares?![]()
It still has the potential for power gains.

sabi sakin.. basta pag matic... 4-2-1 nalng daw.. dahil... masmadalas ang matic sa low rpms... unless siguro if u can control ur rpm to redlinelike invecs or familiar ka tlga sa auto tranny mo

my friend, vinj (also a poster here) had the headers of his exalta sa mufflerland..same promo as yours...galing sa transhow.
so far thats the only comment that i have read.
Nge? I've never had paint get on the rest of my car! Dapat ipintura yan BEFORE ilagay!
And ya, 4-2-1 nalang dapat sa AT... 4-1s sap too much torque.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

For a 4-2-1, it would do well with an a/t... it doesnt add any noise unless you have a loud muffler.
I'm happy with the performance of the headers (esp. when it comes to 80-130kph range). I feel i lost a bit of torque on the low end (below 2.5K) as the diameter of the piping is around 1/4" larger then what would be the optimal size for a 1600 but its not bad as to warrant a heavy foot when the car is drving low speed and going up inclines.
The welds seem to be ok (no mess on this part) but i really got pissed when i saw the car when it came back from the shop. There was some paint sprayover on my aux fan blades and on the engine block near the headers. Normally, i would be the one watching over the car when i have something done but due to my work schedule, i had to instruct our driver to bring the car as i already fixed the payments and measurments of the headers beforehand. What i think they did was there was a missed spot (or scratched spot when they were bolting it on) on the headers when they painted so the installing mechanic decided to add a little paint with the headers on. :dead:
Value-for money, oks na rin (at 2.9K for ours)... and the bends arent impeded as compared to a set of headers from Freemuff or Nodalos.

Knicks1204,

Angel Pizza, i got the headers for 2,900Php.. discounted price ata nila un kung dun ka sa transhow kumuha... pero i think regular price nila ranges to 3K-4K... not sure po... here's their number if you want to inquire...
Tomas Morato - 926-0132
Valenzuela - 277-3661
Fairview - 431-3880
Kamias - 434-5550
Manila - 253-5801
nga pala po... what is the difference between mandrel bend and crash bend? mufflerland claims that they make mandrel bend and not crash bend...
i also have mufflerland headers installed on my rig (4-2-1). mandrel bent headers have equal diameters even around the bends. diameters inside the pipe, not just the outer side. crush bent ones tend to become smaller around bends, hence, unequal diameter sizes which could lead to restriction of exhaust gas and possibly power loss.
mga bro tanong ko lang ung mga nag pa 4-2-1 headers na sa matic.. wala pa ba kayong naging problema since nagpakabit kayo? may nakausap kasi akong magaling magtono ng makina.. sabi niya wag daw ako magpa 4-2-1 headers since matic ako.. pagsisisihan ko raw..
hUWow... thread ressurection!Originally Posted by verm
But to answer... talagang pagsisisihan mo pag 4-1 ang ilalagay mo. 4-2-1, puwede pa, but you will definitely notice a loss of torque either way.
If the engine isn't very peppy, try intake-headers-midpipe+stock muffler... I did this on the 626...
but if you don't race, a better bet would be intake-stock exhaust manifold (headers)-midpipe-sports muffler.... as having a stock exhaust manifold keeps your torque band and also doesn't transmit as much heat into the engine bay.
Basta lang, kung AT ang makina, don't max out the pipe diameter sizing, stick with a 1.75" midpipe for 1.6s and a 2" midpipe for 2.0s and Honda B16s... otherwise, it'll be very boggy.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
