    Na surprise ako to learn na yung Adventure (2002 GLS gas type) ko is
    cable type pala yung clutch.

    Kasi last week hirap ipasok sa ist and reverse gear (with grinding metallic
    sound). Sabi ng mekaniko cable type nga at malapit na raw mapatid.

    It cost me around P750 for the replacement and an hour to replace it.
    Ngayon OK na siya and like brand new swabe na mag change gear.

    Tanong ko lang, all my other cars are hydraulic type, bakit meron palang
    "cable type" - what are the advantage/disadvantage of this clutch type,
    at talaga bang napapatid din siya sa katagalan (in my case seven years).

    What other car models have this "cable type" clutch system.? Alin mas matibay between the two?

    mga bossing tanong ko lang po, kasi kakapalit ko lang ng clutch disk, pressure plate at release bearing... napalitan na din po ng bago ang master at secondary assy pero napansin ko na naman na masyadong mababa na naman ang clutch ko kaya parang hindi smoth yung first gear at reverse ko. yung sa reverse may tunog kung kumakambyo ako... chineck ko ang fluid hindi naman nabawasan... adjustment lang ba ang kailangan po sa clutch given na bago kasi yung lining ng disc? help po... kinakabahan kasi ako pag-lumalambot/ mababa yung clutch kasi yan yung condition nung nawalan ako ng clutch. any inputs is well appreciated. tanx!1

    Kasi usually kapag bago ang clutch system (clutch lining;pressure plate) ay ganun talaga.. Kapagg bagong kabit tapos after a week ipa-adjust mo na yung clutch kasi medyo lumapat na yan.

    Mga sir, same thing for me. Kakapalit lang ng clutch system (ClutchDisc, pressure plate and release bearing) last weekend. 96 Corolla Gli.
    Anu-ano po ba mga dapat i-observe just to make sure the mechanic made a good job nung replecement and that the new clutch system is functioning OK?
    Bukod ofcourse sa smooth shifting, should I expect na lalambot talaga yung clutch ko? Kasi right now, me sense pa din ng slight pagkatigas especially pag mainit na makina. Another thing is that dapat full apak sa clutch para mashift ng smooth.
    Would it contribute to a more faster acceleration? Dapat ba wala na talagang kadyot?
