knocturne in e flat,
sounds like hydraulic problem. no friction problem? ae90 seems to have aged. the master cylinder might need to be refurbished wirha new kit. check if the clutch master cylinder bore is not scored, nicked, scratched, corroded or pitted. if the bore looks ok, just repair it with a kit. while you do that, do the slave cylinder too. they were installed the same time, same mileage, same contaminated fluid they were exposed to. save the trouble, uyou're gonna have to bleed it anyway, Might As Well(MAW) do the whole operation or risk being stuck on the road as a hazard to other motorists. and for sure is not very convenient for you specially you're suck in traffic or need to use the bathroom bad.

1. Check fluid level in clutch fluid reservoir and fill to correct level.
2. take car to your mechanic and explain the problem
He should inspect your clutch system i.e. clutch master cylinder and plumbing for problems.
Ask him for his diagnosis.
Go from there.
If you want, you may share with us his diagnosis.
