June 14th, 2010 04:25 PM #71just a clarification, kasi i bought a lancer mx 2005, ngayon lang ako nakapagdrive ng automatic: kapag ba naka invecs, do you need to step off from the gas pedal when changing gears (plus or minus) like in manual transmission or pwede ng naka-steady ung paa sa gas kahit nagpapalit ng gear?
also, may possibility na ba na mamatayan ng makina ang automatic while in D?
yung sa akin kasi, kapag traffic, umaabot sa 600 ung RPM kapag naka D tapos naka brake lang ako, nanginginig na parang mamatayan ng makina although hindi pa naman namatay sa buong gamit ko ng 1 month.

1) surplus tranny - 9k
2) bnew servo - 8k
3) bearings??
kung kit lang yan, sa eldo rado ka bumili ng kit, plastic lang yan walang 500 pesos. pero kung tunaw yung parang asbestos sa ilalim ng servo+ throttle body, palitin na servo mo. yung bearings naman, bearings ng ano at para san?
tranny cost went high daw dahil sa sobrang demand at low supply nung ondoy case. di ko lang sure kung nag back to normal na mga prices ngayun..

August 4th, 2010 08:36 AM #74mahal yan! servo kit baka 500 pesos lang, made of plastic. kung tunaw na yung parang asbestos sa ilalim ng throttle body mo, palitin na servo mo.
kung surplus tranny naman, di ko sure kung nagnormalize na costs ng surplus ngayun after the demand nung ondoy.. got my tranny for my 95 galant at 9k two years ago.
yung bearings, bearings ng ano?

mga guru, i have one pretty big problem. i have a matic 2006 ford focus, just over 30k ang mileage, maingat po kung gamitin. kanina po nung nilabas ko ang auto from our garage and had it parked sa street, parang biglang nawalan ng resistance yung shift lever nung nilipat ko na from D to P, nakacomplete stop na po ako nito. so tinest ko ulit yung lever only to find out that the transmission doesn't change modes kahit san pa nakatutok ang lever. so kahit ilipat sa R, N, D, + or -, yung mode is still on P (as shown on the dash lcd display). wala din kahit na anong error na lumalabas sa display. so hindi ko sya mapatakbo and hindi din pwede itulak, kasi P ang mode nya kahit ilipat mo sa N.
isip ko baka naputol yung control cable. any intelligent hunches? thanks!

After being idle for about 4 days, ayaw na magengage sa 4th gear or last gear crosswind ko. PArang palaging lang naka-off and OD. . .Its as if nasa 3rd gear lang ako palagi kahit mataas na RPM ko. . .hanggang 70km/h lang takbo. . .naka-off or naka-on and OD, walang pagkakaiba. . . Ano kaya ang defect ng car ko. . . would it just be electrical or transmission na. . . Bago lang palit ang ATF ko so i dont think ATF ang problem. . .
