Kada 30k kms ako magpalit ng ATF. Pero minsan ay binabase ko din sa amoy at kulay. Pag medyo parang sunog or light brown na ang kulay, palit agad kahit wala pang 30k kms.
The best pa rin kung via DIALYSIS ang pagpalit pero medyo masakit sa bulsa. Kaya traditional change oil technique ang ginagawa namin. We measure the amount of fluid drained para may idea kung gano karami ang ipapalit. This is better than not changing the fluid at all.
I own a Mitsubishi Space Wagon. Dexron III (Mobil) ang dating nilalagay pero hindi maganda ang shifting. Moreover, nung mag change oil kami ay maraming metal shavings, ebidensya ng poor performance nung lubricant. Then a friend of mine suggested the use of SPIII. Yup, it worked like a charm. From then on, I use Syngard CVT (compatible with SpIII) Php450 per liter.
Dexron III is compatible with larger A/T like Pajero, Montero, etc... For smaller vehicles, like mine and Lancers, better use a finer ATF = SPIII. Php800/liter ang SpIII sa Mitsubishi casa.
