Older Lancers have their intake just below the headlight, inside the fender. This protects them from bow waves, but if you stop in water deep enough to reach the snorkel, you're dead.
Apparently, the Cedia Lancers have the hood level air intake scoop. Which is better, but once the water reaches hood level, you're dead. The guy got lucky.
Problem with most crossovers... they're taller, but the engine sits in the same place it would in a car... low in the engine bay (for better balance)... and the intake is at bumper level in most of them. Not great for flood fording.
People need to get it into their heads... di porket basta mataas ang sasakyan, mataas ang makina.

At tapos wala pa plate number? Mukhang jologs pa yung driver? Hindi kaya carnapper yun?

Inutil yung driver ng Tucson. Mukhang hindi naman sa kanya yun. Kahihiyan sa mga naka Tucson
T*nginang inutil yan.

My Panasonic battery with i-stop (most of the time I missed to...
Which is better? Amaron or Panasonic Battery?
