Traffic in BGC

Has anyone tried parking sa one/two parkade? Same rate din ba?

College pa ako nun. La pa oto. Scrub mode. Yanong-yano

IIRC Parkade rates are similar to Makati mall rates. Nagkakatalo lang kung yung 45 petot ay first 3 or first 4 hours. Whatever you do never park at Fitness First. Iba ang rate nila. Umabot ng 300+ yung officemate kong nag-OT :hysterical:

Ah, Fat Willys ... good times, good times! ...

Kahit wallflower lang kami nun (tig-iisang bote ng beer lang kaya) busog na busog naman sa mga sights. Yung isang sumasayaw tinakpan na ng jacket ng bouncer konti na lang kasi magkakagulo na :naughty2:

I remember sleeping in one of the officers' houses around where Toyota BGC is now. One of my friends is an army brat and dun kami sa kanila tumuloy after gimik iwas curfew sa dorm

Mule parang more for girls talaga matamis kasi. Naala ko pa P80 ata yan sa Fat Willy's because that's all that I would order. I didn't like beer back then. You hung out at Pep's Pasay road? Isn't it the same price more or less with Fat Willy's?

We were there during happy hours so IIRC 60 petot lang ang beers. Sulit ang Red Horse dahil 500 ml Our gimik leader also plays in a band so usually nasa one of the tables kami malapit sa stage because he knows some of the performers. Good clean fun lang. Mixed group (all flavors)

CVT - Dinner at le Souffle in the 90s .

Sis- malimit sabit lang kami, dahil ang mga big bosses namin sa US, iyan ang paboritong restaurant. Favorite na order na appetizer, foie gras. Favorite ng mga chic naming kasama,- sea bass o tiger prawn.... Kami naman lamb chop or rack of lamb, o steak... The drinks at the bar, before we proceed to the table, were always memorable... :naughty2:

I should admit na marami akong nakitang mga big time nga riyan....

Sa parking lot ng Le Souffle, habang kasama ko ang boss kong puti,- muntik na kaming ma-pick up ng 2 babaeng niyayakag kaming sumakay ng kotse nila.... Kahit sabihin kong kasama ko ang wifey ko sa restaurant,- namimilit pa rin sila....

I miss Le Souffle.... After it was gone, we were frequenting the French Corner in WestGate. The menu was strikingly similar to that of Le Souffle,- even the fonts used... And then, it closed shop.... Nuvo in Greenbelt is an option, but I should admit that it is far off from the Le Souffle dining experience...

Yeah. What I like most about le Souffle is their great staff. If you miss the le Souffle dining experience, you can always go to Old Manila. IMO it's the best restaurant in Metro Manila.

I pass here too. Problem is when you're heading back to EDSA or Makati, traffic pa rin aabutin mo pag rush hour once you get back on the main road.

The Fort also used to be a favorite meet up place for car clubs before and i recall the PTCC held one street circuit race there as well. Parang Ortigas Center back in the 70s and 80s.

Kaka-park ko lang ngayon sa Parkade 1. Late kasi may event sa school and sigurado puno na sa usual parking ko.

Puno na first level including most of the ramp. Second level dami pang bakante naka-park pa ako sa parallel parking slot.

College lang naman ako nung Fat Willy's :P I also remember Ortigas Centre in the 80s! Tektite, San Miguel and HSBC pa lang ata big structures back then. Even until the early 2000s maaliwalas pa sa Ortigas. But now it's super traffic na rin, Before I had no problems meeting up with friends in the Ortigas Area and I frequent Metro Walk din just to buy DVDs (free parking kasi) Pero ngayon, pag hindi Makati or Fort ang meet up, hindi na lang ako sumasama :P

Yung parking sa high street sa may Santi's, I was surprised na at 11 am PILA!

Honest! Bagong bukas lang siya nung HS ako... I don't know anong level ko (HS or college) na nung nauso yung mga wet shirt stuff dun. Hehehehe... Kahit nga sa Hard Rock Cafe (syempre after eating at TGI Fridays), ayaw ako bigyan ng beer kaya hanggang Cali Shandy lang ako nun. :D

Traffic was bad indeed, especially if you're heading to Makati after work. Going home was just normal traffic. This Friday I have to go to BGC pa naman after work since the wifey's Christmas Party is there. Magmukmok nalang ako sa ROX at i-Starbaks tapos at mag sight seeing ng mga... kotse. :D
