at marami pa... i think it is safer na may tint talaga ang kotse kesa sa wla, even it hinders view.

September 22nd, 2009 12:18 AM #27regarding commemorative plates: I remember my professor told us that commemorative plates are issued to raise revenues for the government, hence they are legal. but using such plates are only allowed for a limited number of time. If I remember it right, 2 yrs. is the limit for using a commemorative plate after its issuance. most people think that by using their commemorative plates, they can evade being penalized by traffic enforcers. I believe traffic enforcers know about the purpose of these plates and motorists can't just simply fool them.

September 22nd, 2009 01:45 AM #28i believe number plate covers of any type, tinted or clear, should be banned. no ifs, no buts. hey! it's a good way of generatring govt funds... arresting and fining offenders. the same with fog lights and HID lights that are not properly adjusted.

Here's an article about the proper use of the tilting plate numbers. It has pictures of correct installs. And also has a link to the various LTO violations:

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
