Mga Bossing, Balak ko kumuha ng 2nd hand na tsikot eh pano po kung gusto ko maconfirm kung sino yung owner na nakaregister on a particular vehicle. I have the plate no. and the name but i still want to verify it.

Maganda makita mo pa din yung OR/CR ng vehicle para malaman mo yung owner, and then verify to 2600, dun mo malaman yung exact date of last registration and yung color na nakarehistro sa vehicle kung mag match sa OR/CR

boss, nagawa ko na yung sa 2600, last registration june 2010, and color red kaso yung tsikot sa ads is red orange, ok lang ba yun? Sinabi din naman nung seller sa ads nya na red ang nakaregister eh. wala naman po sa reply ng 2600 regarding the name to whom the vehicle is registered po.

Wala nga nakalagy na owners name, pero mas maganda check mo sa LTO regarding sa color ng car, repaint na ba?

yes sir, bagong repaint po. Kelangan ko po talagang sadyain na pumunta sa LTO to check on that vehicle's info.

i acquired a new vehicle last year. pero ni try ko yung LTO VEHICLE to 2600, no records found... gaano kadalas updating ng database kaya nila?

new vehicle tapos no record found, parang di inupdate yung files mo or di inaasikaso ng dealer mo, nangyari sa motor namin yan nung pina emmision sabi ng may ari walang records, pa update mo sa dealer mo baka di pa inayos ang papers, sabi ng taga emmision pwede pa carnapin motor mo at erehistro sa ibang LTO office...



LTO text di gumagana pag sabado at linggo patay yung LTO 2600 na yan, mon to fri lang gumagana yan, sayang lang 2.50 mo pag wala rin ibigay... AFAIK

LTO 2600 is useless.

I know a car na a few years nang nire-repossess, LTO 2600 says "No LTO apprehension, no LTO alarm".
Another car na na-carnap more than 5 years ago. Properly reported to the police and everything. Hanggang ngayon LTO 2600 still gives the make and model and says "No LTO apprehension, no LTO alarm".

It's a good system in theory, but in practice there's no coordination between LTO and the police, the banks and the registry of deeds. Garbage In, Garbage Out.

Gumagana pa ba ang LTO 2600 checking vehicles ?? ilang beses na akong magtext, walang reply... i want to check a used car for sale ...

I thought to include R1 at the end of the new plate# format. Doesnt work. The reply was:

"Invalid plate# format, must be 4 to 6 characters. P2.50 per text."

Paano na po ba, eh the new format has 7 characters???

this doesnt work most of time even with the old plate numbers. And that's old news - what else can we expect from our government?

Sana isama nila ung query regarding sa registration ng new vehicle, thru its CSR, COC and Conduction Sticker, para malaman ng mga new car owner kung talagang na file ng dealer ung registration ng MV on time.

this service sucks, sasabihin walang LTO alarm or apprehension pero meron talaga. i tried this to check if there is an alarm/apprehension sa bibilhin kong 2nd hand car. nireply nung system is wala. so confident ako na okay lahat. weekend namin binili so definitely yung LTO text lang yung pwede naming asahan. pagdating ng monday, chineck ko sa LTO thru phone. ayun nalaman ko may alarm pala. buti nalang mabait yung napagbilhan ko at nabalik ko yung sasakyan
