    yes... its anti-poor

    coding is a bad idea...

as I've said multiple times. coding has created 2 generations of people na di marunong magcommute!

kasi there's an extra car sa garage!

later, wife learns to drive and kailangan nila ng 3rd car pang-coding... when their child turns 16, practice ka na magdrive anak para di na kita ihatid... may extra car naman dyan.

Why anti-poor? If you can afford even 1 car with fuel, maintain, toll and parking expense then you're not poor.

    agree...

car owners have no right to be called poor

pero I'm thinking of the small businesses... yung palengke stall owners who has 1 vehicle to move their products.
sa Thailand, kahit magbubuko naka Hilux... imagine mo how it will hurt his business kung may coding.

It's anti middle class. I always thought coding was 7 am to 7 pm? I think it's safer to follow that kasi iba iba coding windows ng cities

Bad traffic along Marcos Highway at 6:15am yesterday.

Honestly I think re-implementation of coding made the early morning commute worse, coz instead of people leaving more or less when they need to, nagkaroon ng rush to get to the office before 7am for those whose car is banned for that day.

Hassle for those with long commutes or limited parking who have to leave early regardless of coding.

Sa BGC, my officemate posted na naka new vios yung nagtitinda ng kakanin. I really think na swerte mga tao ngayon na mas madali na umasenso compared to the 90s and prior

    my thoughts,
one may not impose vehicle use restriction, if one does not offer an effective-enough alternative.

Share ko din sana sa Malaysia dati, sa tapat ng favorite staycation hotel namin, may 80's Lancer na mag parking sa hapon tapos yung trunk nya nagiging ihawan - kaya lang wala akong makitang photos dito sa file ko

if you really think about it... yung 60K mo ngayon can get you a phone... or a 20 year old car na you can use for business.

may nakita nga akong Carpool post na 40pesos 1 way no aircon, Pasig to BGC - bawal daw sa maarte

Yes!!! That's so true! When my Dad was in corporate, all his contemporaries had their own rooms and individual secretaries. Dad ko Manager lang title pero yung salary and perks niya, I'm willing to bet, no manager will have that perk now (example housing). My Dad even had time for the family business along with his corporate job.

Now standard na yung long working hours and/or shifting plus napansin ko ngayon ang dami dami ng AVPS and VPS. Sa office nga namin CEO lang ang may own room.

Exponentially mas masarap ang corporate world in the 90s and prior, yun lang it was not accessible to everyone.

Open concept daw... halos maiyak ako noon nung tinanggal ako sa room... then later tinaggal yung dividers ng table namin. mas maliwanag/maaliwalas - kita ng boss kung nag solitaire ka

as for the corporate world. madami kasi akong nameet (retirees) na di naman nakapagtapos or galing sa magandang school na nadaan sa hirap and tyaga yung position nila.

nowadays, kailangan galing ka sa maayos na school tapos mag-align lahat para umangat ka sa corporate ladder.
