Yep. Meron ganyan sa SCTEX, minsan nga tagong tago talaga sila. But their vehicles are marked.and with regards to the unmarked roving patrols....basta may nakita kayong crosswind XL na white or innova J na white din na heavily tinted....mag slow down nadin kayo...
Meron pa minsan, Navara and hilux. Again, they're behind the bushes.

January 25th, 2011 12:15 PM #615Actually a friend who works for MNTC told me that they only allow 110 km/h.
What I do while in the expressway is try to drive a constant speed of 100km/h in the right lane, with bursts of up to 110-120km/h to overtake. My thinking is that if I'm in a real hurry mas lalo lang matatagalan ang byahe pag nahuli.

January 25th, 2011 12:19 PM #616Also forgot to mention, wag kayo magbabad sa overtaking lane especially sa NLEX/SCTEX. Hinuhuli minsan ng mga roving patrols yan.

That's one big difference between NLEX/SCTEX as against SLEX. The slow lane hogs. There are less on NLEX/SCTEX versus SLEC.
I drive regularly on NLEX and so far i just keep at 115kph when i enter areas where i cannot see clearly ahead and when i enter the Bulacan area before the Bocaue Toll gate (southbound).
