i just bought an EC Tag for NLEX, and i have a few questions:

battery operated ang EC Tags, how long does the batteries last? sa mga meron E-Pass sa SLEX, gaano katagal bago kayo nagpapalit ng battery?

You can't replace the battery on your own. Pag-mahina na ang battery, return it to EPass office and they will replace it. Kaya lang, one time I returned my Epass because it was defective, it took them 3 months to replace it. The battery would last around 3 years from my experience.

If they have stock, they will replace the unit with a new one. Kaya lang binago systema. What they do now is they ask you to wait for the diagnosis. In the mean time, tiis ka pumila habang walang sagot ang manufacturer. Galing talaga ng customer service dito.

i was asking about how long they take to replace the batteries.

possible ba na instead na idikit ang EC Tag (san nga ba ito ididikit?) eh, you just take it out from the glove box kapag mag e-exit ka na?

para lang pwedeng maghiraman ng Tags..

as long as bayad naman ang load o puno ng load eh.. yun lang naman important di ba? unless they also plan to bill the EC Tags for any traffic violation within the NLEX jurisdiction?

Hirap kasi ang EC tags pag may tint (even the lightest ones!) kaya kami ang gawa namin ndi na naman kinabit sa windshield, baba mo pa yung driver side mirror mo just for the system to be able to detect your EC pass, hassle, sa SLEX daw mabilis ang detection kahit may tint.
