    OT:

If there's (still) no rail connection between Manila and Clark, NAIA stays. If they can de-clog NAIA with small aircraft traffic and those flying schools, then I think commercial jet aircraft congestion may ease up a bit. One reason CAVITEX was built is in order to service air traffic that will be displaced in NAIA, make land travel from Sangley to elsewhere more faster.

But in the long term, NAIA will still be congested. Only a matter of time.

Yep without Northrail Clark will just be a private airfield for the gamblers that frequent Fontana

Oh ... come to think of it, the national government has two big projects to finish before NAIA gets transferred.

    1. Northrail
    2. Developing that ramshackle of an airport (now) called Clark International Airport, to world class standards.

kahit matagal wait lang natin gawin yun northrail manila-angeles, LRT 1 baclaran-bacoor extension, mrt7 to sjdm anu pa ba + TPLEX

    less traffic has its benefits.
less urban congestion has its benefits.
good airport has its benefits also.
    etc

so hindi dapat outright ng sabihing malabo gawin dahil malaki gastos. ika nga "you get what you pay for". usually pag mura, hindi maganda quality.
