MMDA implements "clearway" u-turn system on Katipunan. Comments?

The Libis one works... but i'm not happy with the Katipunan set-up.


There may be MMDA personnel manning the pedestrian paths during peaks hours but it isnt manned 24-7. Are they waiting for someone to be seriously or fatally injured because of that (knock on wood)? I'm really concerned about this as a lot of students fro Miriam, Ateneo and UP cross Katipunan daily, they should really put up pedestrian overpasses in front of AdMU Gate 3 and Miriam.

The road is also too narrow and the vehicle volume is too heavy lest Ateneo and Miriam donate some land to make the roads wider near the u-turn slots so proper u-turn shaped "islands" can be made similar to the old u-turn slot accross the Petron in U.P. Commonwealth.
