This is what they do along Mindanao Ave.

They block off an entire block and just apprehend those caught in between regardless if you are a participant or just watching.

Well, that's the problem. Private citizens bribing apprehending traffic officers / cops to drag race.

Why can't just they drag race at PDRF sanctioned events?

Hinde lang naman ung mga private citizens na hinuhuli nila nag bbribe ehh, minsan mga police pa mismamo nang hihingi ng bribe ehh!
OT: dati nahuli ako ng coding sa ateneo sabi sakin nung MMDA eh "boy bka gusto mo pag usapan nalang natin to para hinde na tayong dalawa maabala, hinde pa kasi ako nag memeryenda eh"

HIndi ko alam kung may nag post na ng ganitong reply. Dapat mag set up ng isang place pra sa mga gustong mag drag race gawin away from public and private vechicles. That drag race place will be open all the time.

Yan din ang ibig kong sabihin sana nga payagan na ng MOA buksan ulit yung PRA Promenade at gawin ng drag strip yun.Ang lalayo na kase ng legal drag way ngayon sa Far north at Far South na..

Great idea if the strip is near enough for the racers to go to. Here in norcal they have Wednesday night drags at Sears Point Raceway during the summer and you can even race against a police car or a modded police drag car.
