+1000 to GH's.
agree with earlier poster na dapat huwag magbabad sa innermost lane. may mga barrier minsan sa naka-barega. at biglang may nagme-merge from 4 to 2 lanes.
may isa pa akong nadaanan last sunday, yung carmona rd (from SLEX) to dasmarinas cavite. may road constructions din at very poor or no lighted signages. may nakita akong sentra na stuck sa mga rubbles ng dinimolish na road at ilang accidents din. very dangerous lalo't umuulan.

Tama ba?
Private contractor ang gumagawa sa SLEX?
Private Company naman ang mag operate nito? BOT ba?

June 22nd, 2009 10:16 AM #24Sirs Yup private company pero hindi PNCC, it's MTD i think it's a Malaysian owned company and later on pag natapos na nila ung contract sila na ang mag take over sa SLEX. Yan po yung pagkakaalam ko. :gun::jawdrop::shark::drive1::nolurk:

June 30th, 2009 02:51 AM #25what I don't get is they're so fast? in fixing up SLEX when they could have fixed the light posts 1st. Yes they're putting up light posts in the barriers but why only now? Bakit hindi pa sinabay nung ginagawa pa lang yung concrete barriers.
This is the reason why there are so many misplaced or ajar orange barriers its because those idiots putting up the light posts. Those people were not trained to know how to properly place an orange barrier. Minsan naka diretso, naka 45 degrees, at kung ano ano pang position.
This morning i saw this LAncer almost hit it because it was put there in a very odd way that it'll just surprise you
lastly, plus one on that part where the car seems to vibrate or shudder. Its really annoying. I also agree that in a few years SLEX will degrade in terms of how it was built. Minadali talaga.

Ika nga e Onli In The Pilipins . . . Mga tinamaan ng LiNtEk!

here's another instance... i was driving from calamba about 4 to 6 weeks ago when it started raining and the wind picked up. lumakas talaga yung hangin until bigla lumipad yung orange barriers across the highway because they were EMPTY! nagkaroon ng instant slalom course sa gitna ng highway. of course dumagdag yun mga workers as obstacles since hinabol din nila yun mga barriers. buti nalang konti lang volume ng traffic nun and walang mishap na nangyari.

been off and on the SLEX since 2008, my ex gf, and present wife lives in Laguna, hehe, talagang ganun sa SLEX. from start to end. buti nga ngayon maluwag na siya, di tulad dati na pazigzag zig zag, todo ingat lang talaga sa mga side lanes niya, kahit na nasa middle lane kayo hanggat maari umiwas sa mga mabibilis na nasa side lanes kasi may mga barriers at mga hukay na alangan ung position at mapapakabig ka talaga.
for safety just travel bet 80 - 100 kph, at stay as far away from the sides as possible, expect many obstacles in SLEX
and always pray before travelling

tanong ko lang, if presented with same situation ( a vehicle stopping at the fast lane ) ano ba dapat reaction ng motorista? full breaks lang? i was wondering if we will have enough time to look at the side mirror and change lane as to avoid a full stop which is a sure accident.
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
