It's good to be green but we gotta be practical too. The problem with all the green whatever initiatives is they are impractical and not long term nor broad enough to really solve our problems.
Ban plastics from stores? We all end up using other products and lines at groceries take even longer as it's harder to pack items in alternatives (paper bags and boxes). I did get myself one of those green bags for the grocery but i always forget it anyway.
Set up bike lanes or close roads on weekends for bike use only? It still doesn't solve the problem of traffic and congestion. Plus of course the major polluters to our roads are not private vehicles (where most recreational bikers are classed) but the trikes, buses, jeeps and trucks that people rely on to get about their daily lives. Can you get them to bike to and from work? Heck they may be killed due to pollution or get run over by a moron at the wheel of the bus.
Yung Exped, low mileage pa since pag weekend lang ginagamit. :D That's why astigin ako sa mga taong ginagamit pang everyday yung mga Exped and Suburban nila.

wiki: Green politics
Green politics is a political ideology that aims for the creation of an ecologically sustainable society rooted in environmentalism, social liberalism, and grassroots democracy.[1] It began taking shape in the western world in the 1970s; since then Green parties have developed and established themselves in many countries across the globe, and have achieved some electoral success.Supporters of Green politics, called Greens, share many ideas with the ecology, conservation, environmentalism, feminism, and peace movements. In addition to democracy and ecological issues, green politics is concerned with civil liberties, social justice, nonviolence and tends to support social progressivism. The party's platform is largely considered left in the political spectrum. However, as the 'Green' ideology expanded, there also came into separate existence green movements on the political right in the form of green conservatism and eco-capitalism.
It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
