How will they tell? I don't expect enforcers to be literate enough to distinguish between OEM, retrofitted, and plug and play HIDs.

Kung gagamitin nila yung projector as basis, paano mga Forester, Altis/Civic na 2.0, and other cars that come with OEM reflector HIDs.

Also, when I read the article, it makes no distinction as to the kind of HID, though the description offered by the authors actually only refers to ill-fitted PnP HIDs.

I agree with the INTENT of this proposed bill but they need to SPECIFY yung specs na malakas talaga ang glare. Sino ba namang driver ang gusto na maya't maya ay nabubulag pag may kasalubong na glare?

Plate number covers are actually illegal. But of course, implementation is nowhere to be seen.

If a simple and easily identifiable violation such as a tinted plate cover cannot even be properly implemented, paano pa yung HID law na 'to. Stupid politicians.

Naka hid ako fog lights and head light pero pirmis fog lights lang naka open sa akin lalo sa city driving , in case of emergency na lang nabubuksan yung headlight kapag overtake or may pulis para hindi masita kung bakit walang headlight or kapag yung daan napakadilim na talaga, tulong sa visibility

It will pass, same with other stupid laws na hindi naman ma-implement ng tama, unahin mo na ung law creating MMDA at ung function nito sa traffic.

a sweeping generalization is check the white on a reflector bowl. violet, blue, yellow too that light up the rear windows of cars ahead, even on bumpy roads. don't bother with the spherical headlights/ projectors. I think they won't include factory installed ones But listen L300s, celerios, adjust your dipped lower.

doesn't mean enforcers have to look at each passing headlight. there'll be unfortunate drivers who'll glare or flash them.

headlights shouldn't light up a wall to the ceiling, pnp HIDs. i've seen halogen setups that throw like RHDs, seen a lot with mis-aligned left and right sides. people don't seem to know or care to adjust them. they just want to install fog lights and new powerful bulbs. both btw have a good chance to glare. there are so many chances in parking facilities to make the proper adjustment.

i think what's more important is an information campaign on how to adjust headlights.

Exactly! Kawawa naman yung mga Lambo, Porsche BMW, Audi, Benzes, etc, nila tongressman and their kids.

Stupid, backward law if you ask me. Better to look at other matters.
