iyong lto plate. di ko po makita sa website nila. luma na kasi. iyong homepage news as of june 2006 pa. kaya walang update. nagpunta ko lto-diliman last week. Kolokoy iyong napagtanungan ko, 5K daw iyon. di pa tinuro kung saan kukuha. Alam nyo ba kungb saan building sa LTO? TIA.:office:

Maybe a stupid question...but I gotta ask..

Are the Vanity plates issued by LTO unique? I mean lets say I want a 'STRADA' plate, but it has been issued already before...It must still be possible to get another 'STRADA' plate since this is just placed on top the regular plate which is unique.

Are the Vanity plates issued by LTO unique? I mean lets say I want a 'STRADA' plate, but it has been issued already before...It must still be possible to get another 'STRADA' plate since this is just placed on top the regular plate which is unique.

The plate has to be unique for that particular design. There can't be two 'Strada' plates for one type of comm plate. If you want two, your option is to order one LTO and one of another design (e.g. PGH). But both of them still has to be displayed in the in front portion of the vehicle.

Sorry guys..I think I am confused.

Vanity plates - Only one piece is issued by LTO and can only placed at the rear (on top of the normal plate). Validity is 5 years and can be transfered to other cars.

Special Plates - These are regular plates (2pcs) with with special letters or numbers. Validity is for the lifetime of the vehicle and non transferable.

Commemorative Plates - these are special plates (not sure how many, and where can it be placed), costing only around 2K and is valid for 1 to 1.5 yrs..

YEs. Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to Comm plates.

But it's the same deal for Vanity plates (no two are alike).
