afaik all schools in NCR walang pasok during APEC week; Nov 18 & 19 lang ang nonworking.

fyi, read in the papers that they may use cell signal jammers sometime during APEC week -- same thing they did with the Papal Visit.

What do they mean by implementing stop-and-go traffic? My interpretation is that all traffic will be stopped, even those in the same direction, while the APEC delegates are in transit.

Hay, kung pwede lang magleave buong linggo...

Dapat ginawa nalang outside of Metro Manila yan APEC meet, like sa Clark, Pampanga. Hindi pa damay mga flights sa NAIA. Dami na rin magandang hotels and venues for the meeting sa vicinity ng Clark.

FVR did this during his time at Subic. They even built villas for heads of state which are now rotting. If only our goverment understand the word maintenance, they could have done it there again and spare the metro with all these inconvenience.

I heard that those villas are for rent or sale. Sayang ang taxpayers money.

Yup sayang nga mga villas na pinagawa dun. dapat kung hindi na lang gagamitin binenta na agad sa private sector or lease it. Kumita ka na, libre pa maintenance.

long term lease ginawa nila, i heard 50 years. kanya-kanyang lease yung mga hinayupak na government/pols. i'll bet mababa lang lease rate.
may 2 lang yata na hindi occupied cause those are in a bad state.

Mabuti nga sana kung outside Metro Manila pero baka mas gusto ng organizers na sa capital ng Philippines gawin yung main event. I remember the venue suppose to transfer from PICC to Marriott pero majority did not agree kahit mas maganda kasi priority is Manila.
