655db? Looks like another money making b.s. at the expense of the motoring public.

Nuclear explosions are amongst loudest phenomena on Earth. Their loudness ranges roughly from 240 dB to over 280 dB. ... Decibel meters set 250 feet away from test sites peaked at 210 decibels. The sound alone is enough to kill a human being, so if the bomb doesn't kill you, the noise will.
Correct me if I am wrong, pero diba as long as yung LTO Office kung san ka magrenew is hindi pa "MVIC required", pwede pa yung dating method?
This is per my understanding.
Regarding dun sa checklist na sasagutan ng may-ari or driver, well. nakalagay naman please check and confirm lang. Hindi niya sinabi please check one only. hehe! So kung AWD pwede mo check front drive and rear drive.

I am not surprised with this new MVIS inspection scheme.
Dumaan ako sa ganitong inspection last year, although ako yung nag drive at dumaan dun sa mga wavy platform to test the pang ilalim.
Ngayon ko lang nalaman, optional pa pala yun last year?
Mataas kasi pila sa pinakamalapit naming inspection center, resulta is dun ako sa LTO inspection center mismo nagpa inspect with the same equipment for MVIS inspection.
“European commission standards” oh yeah!

sounds chock-full of legal loopholes.
as to #7... can i just stay inside the car during the testing process?
and how many ordinary car owners can get a 100% correct in the set of 1-8 questions at the bottom?

even the best testing equipment has to be calibrated before use, and checked and re-calibrated regularly..
how is LTO attesting to this maintenance schedule?
"who's going to check the checkers?"

Kasama pala ang speedometer test? Paano yung mga nag upgrade ng gulong (eg. OEM size is 15's, upgrade to 17's or 18s) at affected yung speedometer reading? Kailangan mag back to stock para pumasa at maging accurate yung reading? Hehe
In my opinion, a bmw Z4 clocking 7k kms should pass that with no issue.. bagong bago pa yan eh.. although hindi imposible na may problema.. but low probability na meron.. so paano na yung mga basic cars like auv, mpv na common car ng pinoy using replacement parts?
