Nag-renew na ako last week ng rehistro ko (affected din ako ng naka-TRO na plate numbers). Usual requirements lang naman ang hiningi. Just follow the rule na within one month before the lapse of three years registration, ipa-renew na.

Got CTPL via iChoose.ph (FPG insurance, paid 610pesos)
Emission Test for 450pesos
LTO renewal fee of 1930pesos

Done in less than an1 hour at LTO Calamba.

Yes sir, sa CR kasi blank lang plate no. Sa policy, they used the conduction no.

Question lang po about Registration. Balak po sana namin bumili ng secondhand car, the car is registered at Las Pinas and gusto ko po sana iRenew dito sa Imus, Cavite, and tanong ko po is if need ko pa po ba itransfer ung ownership nung car bago ko maRenew dito? ang sabi po Change venue pero di ko po natanong if okay lang ba kahit di pa nakapangalan skn car or ung ORCR? thank you po sa sasagot..

Yes, you can renew even if the vehicle is not under your name. It is advisable, however, to have it transferred after purchasing. Isabay mo na lang ang transfer and registration para isang lakaran ng papers na lang.

Thank you for the answer Mr.Phantom. About po sa pag sabay ng Transfer, pepwede ko na din po ba iprocess lahat un dito sa Cavite na di na kami vivisit sa kung saan first regiistered ung car? Nababasa ko po kasi is need ng Clearance from PNPHPG which is located sa Manila.. Wala po ko masyadong experience sa Manila... Thank you po talaga sa reply, and pasensya po sa questions ko.. Last I remember is you need to go to the lto office where the vehicle is initially registered. I don't know if it has changed already. Check with your nearest lto if there are policy changes, otherwise, you need to allot some time for that. Good luck on your purchase.

pag change of name.. kailangan don sa LTO kung nasaan yung original docs.. kailangan din nang HPG clearance..

you can tell the LTO to transfer the papers to your local lto office you just have to pay a fee.

doon sa mga nag renew after 3 years pero wala pang plaka nagkaproblem ba kayo? sabi kasi sa emission dapat daw lagyan ng temp. licence plate sabi ko maglagay na lang ng papel na may pentel ng conduction (nasira na kasi yung nilagay ng casa) ayaw pikturan dahil daw walang plaka...what's your opinion? ang legal requirement lang naman is the conduction sticker diba? dahil wala pa nga yung plates....

Ask your dealer if there is already a virtual plate number assigned to your unit. If so, refer to that one in getting ctpl and or comprehensive insurance and in filling up other docs. Hth
