Nothing wrong with your carwash. The problem lies with the dealer or casa who unscrupulously sprayed a very thin layer of undercoating, to maximize their profits. Most casa just spray the four wheel wells just to give the customer an impression they got a good deal with the "free" undercoating. I bet the entire underside they didn't bother to spray.


Solution: Buy some 3M undercoat (in cans) and have the Gas station spray it for you. This time including the entire underside and not just the wheel wells.

Differential = gear oil (differential specific).

transfer case = ATF

Check your manual for the specific viscosity grade. You can buy Toyota branded fluids from the casa.

im planning to use trd motul oil since trd motul engine diesel oil na gamit ko.

so meron TRD Gear oil 75w140

then ATF for transmission oil and transfer case (sir eto yun sa 4x4 diba??)

For guys with 2013 stripped down G variant, can you please confirm if your unit is not equipped with electronic folding side mirrors? I was surprised when my SA told me about this since I never came across any document, write up or any reference material mentioning it. Thanks!

I don't think it comes equip with automatic/electronic folding side mirrors.

^thanks Retz! Well, I was expecting it would be since the "published" features that were supposedly stripped are only the leather seats, hid, gps and headlamps auto leveling and washers.
