Normal na yan kasi exposed sila sa water lalo na pag maulan. Pa undercoat mo na lang para sa protection ng under chassis mo. walang pwedeng ipang takip dyan.

ahhh, akala ko kasi may something na undercover parang may nakita kasi ako dati sa ibang sasakyan. sige tanong ko na lang sa casa how much magpa undercoat, pinapainquire din kasi sakin ng erpat ko. mabuti na yung maalaga sa sasakyan para tumagal. thanks!

DIY lang yan. Bili ka lang ng VHT (Very high temp) aerosol paint para dun sa may muffler portion pati na rin yong sa bolt. liha lang ng konti para makapit ang paint...useles ang undercoat dyan. matutunaw lang ang undercoat nyan sa init ng muffler mo.

Sa mga naka gas variants na fortuner, may na encounter na ba kayo na parang metallic vibration na sound sa underchassis (parang galing sa exhaust muffler area) na maririnig nyo malakas pag nasa 1,500 rpm while driving at low speed ?

Whats the difference between fortuner 2006, 2007 and 2008? May significant difference ba sa features? If im going to buy a second hand unit, ano mas recommended?

2006 and below - cloth seat upholstery and no cabin air filter

2007 - "up spec" - leather seat upholstery and cabin air filter ; introduction of color blue paint (not popular)

2008 - almost same as 2007. Last year before the facelift.

2.5 VNT (hood scoop added to all 4x2 variants, existing to 4x4 variant) . Introduced 3rd quarter of 2012.

Yes same type as Innova and Hilux.

Its also very easy to add a cabin filter to units that currently don't having an existing one. DIY or any Toyota dealer can do this for you. You need to cut something out and buy a cover and the filter.

mga bossing newbie po ako didto sa thread na ito... tanong ko lang po sana kung meron ba kayo alam na way to check the engine performance of the toyota fortuner, 3.0 V...medyo may kabagalan kasi ung acceleration at transfer nang gear lalo kung ng o overtake ka/..... maraming salamat po

Actually i paid 1k for them to add a cabin filter. NagulAt ako yun lang pala yun. Tinaga ako.

Sir, saan mo ba ni cocompare? you might opt to install a race chip kung nababagalan ka sa acceleration.

Wala pa naman sa gas fortuner but the one you have experienced is similar to my gas innova. I can hear a "distinct sound" sa umaga after driving a few meters then goes away when the engine is already warm.

What fuel octane are you using? 93 or 95?

I have switched to 95 octane fuel and nawala na yun sound.

i would agree kung highway yan.. pero I doubt kung city driving.. kung yung Innova nga na 2.0 lang pahirapan sa 8km/l sa city driving ehh yun pa kayang Fort na 2.7 na mas malaki at mas mabigat.. yung VVTi Fort ng pinsan ko 6km/l lang ang city driving nya..

Average 7-8 km/l for Innova and 6-7 km/l for Fortuner. Both fuel consumption makes sense because my altis makes 9-10km/l. Now I am looking for a toyota vehicle that makes 8-9km/l. Meron ba? Hahaha

last one i measured was 9.3km/L with a 2013 Fortuner Diesel city driving with minimal highway driving. ngayon minomonitor ko ulit full tank to full tank if i improved.

For gas variant, I prefer Petron Blaze 100. Best response.

PS: I have also tried Xtra Unleaded and XCS (back when they were still 100% gas and no ethanol).
