Just a question. To activate the GPS in a 2015 2.5G do you need to install an antenna or microSD card on the slot is enough?

Not for the G model. Its an add on feature if you want. There's one tsikot member here who sells that gps module at a decent price. You might want to pm him for details.

The brochures said "GPS Ready". For the Monty GLX that mean only inserting the SD card. I thought it had the same meaning for the Fort G.

Not for the G model. Its an add on feature if you want. There's one tsikot member here who sells that gps module at a decent price. You might want to pm him for details.

got the unit already last friday sir shembot, so far so good naman po. the SA attended as that well, explained everything plus attendance to the video room for some general information on the unit.
my brother is enjoying his unit. i drove it paakyat ng baguio, much better compared dun sa sinauna na fortuner, the unit was a V diesel.

First gen of Fortuner D4D - 100HP 2.5L diesel engine; The current gen (VNT) - 140HP+ 2.5L diesel engine

In comparison:

Starex (old and current gen) - TCI -100HP 2.5L diesel engine; "Old CRDi" of old gen - 140HP+ 2.5L diesel engine; Current gen VGT - 170HP+ 2.5L diesel engine....

If G na walamg hood scoop means not VNT. If G na may hood scoop sure na VNT.

hi need help regarding sa unit namin, i have a 2.5 vnt manual transsmision 2012 model,nung brand new pa yun sobrang lakas ng hatak kahit magaan lang tapak ko and kapag naka floor ka sa pedal matutulak ka sa upuan. ngayon mag 3 years na siya sa November currently at 43k kms, pansin ko humina na hatak niya kesa dati at kailangan mo lakasan yung throttle para humatak. casa maintained and fully synthetic oil gamit ko and every 7k kms ako nagpapachange oil and inaavail ko lagi engine treatment and fuel treatment sa casa and lahat kailangan every PMS. ano kaya pwede solution para maging ganun ulit takbo niya? kailangan ba linisin tb ko, egr or maf? all inputs are welcome. TIA sa makakatulong
