aster i got my fort yesterday..just wanna ask what is the best diesel for our fort?beside sa unioil la kasi saming unioil..

Had 3.0v and 2.5 fort and I'm using v power diesel from shell just because these engines were designed for euro 2.

mga master..first full tank ng forty namin.. nka'401 kms na and may less than half pa sa fuel gauge,, and the ave fc i got was 12.1 km/l..yan na best..tipid po ba yan? from province po kasi kaya medyo maluwag sa traffic..

Ok yan, ganyan naman ang ave. fc ng fort, d4d yan di ba?

ask ko lang po kung normal lang ba na umaabot ng 99.9 yung reading ng km/l kapag nagrerelease sa accelerator while running at 70 kph or above? pero kapag naman po nakaapak lang sa accelerator kahit 100 kph nasa 11-12 km/l ang reading. fortuner 2.5 d4d a/t. thanks

Baka nasa real time fuel consumption ka. Switch to AVE. Km/l for average fuel consumption. Or better to compute your FC manually.

Hello po sa lahat ng Fortuner owners and fellow Tsikoteers.

Help naman po for my 2014 G DSL A/T. When my unit reached about 3,000 kms mileage, I started hearing a sound in the front area of the car when driving thru rough / moderately bumpy pavements. Tumutunog po sya when hitting bumps in succession and minsan pag sudden ang bump like un mga gap between bridge pavement panels. Hindi po "kalog" ang sound like those of busted links, loose joints or rod ends. The closest that I can describe is like a "flapping" metal sound; almost vibrating na rin. One idea that I had in mind is the coil spring cover, if meron ganun ang Fortuner. I don't think naman that the underliners will sound like that if untacked/loose kasi plastic yata materials nun.

Thanks in advance for any idea that you may share and suggest. My car is in Toyota now but I decided to seek out help here since wala pa daw findings ang technician nila. Thanks again!

Check brake pedal bushing. Sakit ito ng Fort since Gen1. Same description kayo ng friend ko on his Gen3. Casa replaced it for free since it is under warranty.

thanks sir. saan pala casa un? i called the SA yesterday and sabi naman daw ng technician eh ok ang brake pedal bushing. pero i will still request that they show me if pwede.

weird nga po pero share ko na rin. sabi sa akin ng SA, papa-test drive daw nila ako ng bnew unit para ma-compare. first, i thought, di ba nila naisip na bnew nga un unit ko. so if meron agad ganun sound when it was released, i should have readily brought it back. Second, are they implying that Toyota will spend in R&D for NVH reduction tapos ganun ang product result.

Kung parang kalderong nag babanggaan yan, check the rubber stopper sa hood. Ganyan din sakin dati. Nasira ulo ko until i tried adjusting it.
