Toyota VVTI engines

Has anyone here experience what I had this morning?

BTW, my ride is Innova 2.0 vvti G M/T. (Oct 2006, ODO 8,750, new model with new grills and wheel well cover, )

From house I drove uphill to the main entrance of my village and stop there for a while to fix those folded seats on the second row. When I was about to go, the car wont move???? It seems that the engine when into idling mode and was still running including the aircon but clutch and gas pedal not reponding?

The gas pedal and the clutch won't respond??? Thinking that the gas pedal is electronic I switched off the engine and start again and all of the sudden everything now is working? What makes me wonder is the clutch pedal not working, was is also electronic?, but from I know the clutch is fluid type.

Could this be a sign that my ECU is failing? I guess I had to brought this up on my next 10K PMS.

i'm new here, i'd like to ask the RPM shift points of the TYT VVTi? i mean at what RPM do the VVTi engage? for the Inova 2.0? Avanza 1.3? Avanza 1.5?
