150kg is like two big people.

    Thank you both of you.
Just sample computation lang po. Halimbawa 60 months po yung term. How much po ang monthly nun?

i did read in an auto mag review, that their unit tested about 6 kn/li. they added that they expect the fuel efficiency to improve as the engine settles in.

Same experience. Been asking around, and a common complaint is that the economy is not what's expected in traffic.

    BUT:

    1. Traffic now is bad. Very bad. So it's hard to compare to the previous car fairly.

    2. These cars DO need to be broken-in before we see what they're capable of.

    3. The economy on the highway is actually great.

    -

So it's a wait and see for me.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

so, for stop-and-go traffic, which would be more fuel-efficient: the 1.3 AT or the 1.5 AT ?

Always the one with the lower displacement. All because engine displacement is useless while idle.

^Also consider that the engine isn't "laggy" off the line when you test drive. If a car isn't too responsive from standstill, the tendency of the driver is to mash the pedal more when the car is in neck-to-neck traffic.

First time I measured it (full tank at auto stop, same dealer, Petron XCS), got ~9.1, then 10.2 and now I'm getting ~12.7 km/Li on my 1.3E A/T (route sta.rosa ~ las pinas) and My odo is reading ~3200 km. Cruising speed at 80~90 kph on SLEX (Niky, thanks for the tip) although minsan di ko namamalayan nasa 110~120 na ako :D

So FC seems to be getting better as the Vios gets "broken-in".

Should be able to get about 20 km/l on the highway (even with the auto) when it's broken-in fully. The big problem with your route is the hills (between San Pedro and Alabang). The trick is simply to try to carry momentum up without pressing down harder on the gas, then let yourself speed up a bit on the downhill side (again, without pressing harder on the gas).

The real problem is traffic... but if you can avoid gridlock, I think 14-15 km/l mixed is not an unrealistic goal.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Thanks add_L.
