300 lang yan? Anak ng tupa hindi na nga ako bibili sa casa!

Hehehe tagal rin dumating ng black ko eh, saturday pa. I could have gotten a unit kung kumuha ako ng silver or beige pero black talaga gusto ko

My Altis had around 6 or 7km when it was delivered. Baka sa yo less then that pa since sa dealer mo kukunin.

Mine had 16km on it. Kwento ni agent galing pa daw kasi sa yard nila sa Pasig. Blink agad ang gas paglabas ng casa

Naka almost 2,400 ata ako when i took delivery of the Altis since yan din yung kasagsagan ng gas price increase. Toyota Manila Bay delivered it to my wifey's office in Makati.

BTT: My in-laws have a 2007 1.3E. One of the first second gen Vios units sold. 85,000kms later and a full tear down c/o Ondoy, it's still running very well and continues to be very reliable.

Neighbors 2004 1.3E was bought 2nd hand, was flooded by Ondoy, parked outside, went literally everywhere and still reliable 'til now.

    1. TVSS light will blink 30 secs or so after locking. Alarm will not activate if you start opening doors or the trunk with the key before it blinks.
    2. All doors, the hood and the trunk have sensors so if any of them are opened while TVSS is active beep beep beep.
    3. Unlock TVSS and open/close the trunk ONLY. The system should automatically lock again after about 30 secs (in other words never EVER place your keys anywhere near the trunk just keep them in your pocket).
    4. TVSS can be locked while trunk or hood are open but the light won't blink until you close them. TVSS won't lock when a door is open.

Good luck and have fun! BGC PMS EB?
    Thanks bro! Appreciate it.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the unit from BGC...:D Ala sila eh. From TQA ko kukunin, although I have no plans on bringing the car there for PMS either. Alam mo naman reputation nila when it comes to after-sales diba, Toyota North-Edsa ko dadalhin.

also, mahilig magrelease ang casa ng unit ng gabi. kasi hindi mo na makikita yung mga defects. so much better if you pick it up tom 8am nalang kung ganun lang din. at least you can take your time inspecting the unit first.

I'll bring a flashlight. And 4pm is sunny pa naman. I did the same for our FD, dala lang ng flashlight when it was released around 5-6pm.

    1. Check all lights if they're working. Check their lenses for any cracks. Check the reverse lamp baka may langaw.
    2. Alarm (anything related to it such as keyless entry...) -- See if it goes "off" and if it's working properly. The buttons on the key must feel... new. :hysterical:
    3. Odometer -- Should be at least under 50kms, by trailer na naman delivery ng Toyota. Unlike before, by land..
    4. Fuel -- IF may promise sayo na 10L, fuel should not be blinking... Hahaha.
    5. Doors/Trunks -- See if they close with the littlest effort, yung trunk see if they hold properly.
    6. Bumpers -- See if they're aligned. Common na 'to with cars na nagkakaron minsan ng misalignment
    7. TIRES -- CHECK THE PSI ASAP. Usually mga casa overinflate.
    9. Tint/Glass -- see if there's any damage on the glass due to tinting. Gasgas and what not. Bubbles should be fine since bago pa.
    10. Tools -- tignan niyo kung kumpleto. under the driver's seat is the jack.
    11. Mags -- baka may gasgas na yan.
    12. Body -- normal dings and dents tignan mo rin
    13. Locks -- check if they're working properly. yung manual keyholes
    14. Get the insurance policy
    15. Get the delivery invoice. Remember, wala ka pang OR/CR, Plaka when you release it....
    16. Stereo pa pala. Better bring a CD.

Sorry for being meticulous, ganyan lang talaga ako sa sasakyan.

If someone does something, good isn't good enough.

*grayceheart: Nagbigay ako sa Toyota Global City last May 28, wala daw pala sila unit until June 16. So I cancelled the reservation. Gave TQA 10k last Saturday, June 2 2012. I was promised kasi na Today makukuha. Kahapon ang daming kalokohan nung dealer, may inuna daw kasi blah blah blah. Eh di pinuntahan ko sakanila talked to their manager. Ayan, marerelease na siya mamaya.

TVSS light is the blinking red one on the dash right behind the windshield driver side. Di ako umaalis sa parking hanggang di magblink yan hehe

Gant Banawe is a few stores after Toyorama. Dun ako tinuro ng may-ari ng Toyorama dahil naubusan sila ng OEM.
