Toyota Vios Owners & Discussions Thread

Hi mga sir, just signed up but been lurking around Tsikot since late 2015. I have a Vios 2012 1.3E MT color blue, turning 5 years this October.
Just recently did I have the available, but still limited, resources (graduate na kasi and started working) to start altering things with the car.

Here are some of the recent changes:
Window detail and installed new med-black Platinum tints
Replaced Stock horns with Hella twin /two tone
Replaced Stock headlights with Bosch 60/55W All Weather Plus
Had the headlights detailed then applied protective med-black film coating
Installed window visor
Installed side rubber door guard
Replaced mattings with Sparco brand matting

Other things that I intend to do next, in order:
Install fog lights
Install duct tail
Replace stock grill with black belta grille
Install matte black headlight and tail light covers

Any suggestions or comments mga sir? would the car look baduy or ricey if ever I decide to continue with my plans? Comments will be much appreciated! Thank you! 

Sa mga naglolog ng fuel nila dito ano mpg or km/l nyo? Mine 38.3mpg (from bamban petron up to baguio then back to bamban petron) and average ko city/highway 38.43mpg. Nakakapagtaka rin kasi 90% ko sa marcos highway full throttle lang gamit ko switching gears between 1st gear and 2nd 4 passengers full trunk 3/4 (7 bars) of gas. Anyone got the same numbers with me? Hula ko magiging 40-42 mpg pa siguro kung pangasinan lang ang byahe hehe

Thank you sa info.. pinainsure ko na sasakyan ko dito, ang mura nga.. nasa 10k natipid ko.. feeling ko tuloy tinaga ako ng ahente ng sasakyan ko, sinabi ko kasi sa ibang insurance ako kukuha.. legit siya guys try niyo

Mas mura pa rin sa GSIS. Ang kaso lang, based on experience, more than three months bago lumabas ang LOA. Ang hirap pang maka-connect sa Claims Department nila. Kung maka-connect man, wala naman ung taong hinahanap mo.

Ung Marketing Department nila ay very accommodating. Parang langit at lupa ang pinagkaiba ng Marketing at Claims nila.

mdami na ba naka vios 2016 dito w/ dual vvti engine na? planning to buy 1.3E MT variant. kamusta ang performance ng new vs old engine? thanks sa makakapag share

Hi fellow Vios owners! just got a 2006 1.3E (1st gen) with 50K Km odo reading. Ganda pa. only 2 problems i'm having. the left rear power window is non functional and the antenna is gone. are there any alternative antennas i can use in its place or do i havet o replace the whole antenna including base?

if the antenna base is still there and is intact, you can probably buy a replacement part from the mall. but if the base is cracked or damaged, you may have to replace it, po. dami namang replacement units diyan. pa-kabit mo sa kanila, kung hindi kayo marunong papano.
