    Hi Mazdamazda,

Sorry but I'm not that knwoledgeable on brakes. Ano yung front disc rotors? Ano hitsura nito? Pag nagpalit ba ng pads kailangan din palitan ito?

    Thank you

That Lemon Law should really push through. First it was the Crosswind, now the Rav4, whats next?

dmnavarro: No need to change rotors when changing pads. Yung kay mazda2 may defect ata yung rotors kaya pinalitan.

the rotors are the big shiny plates where the pads are making contact with to brake your car. the rotors should last LONGER than the pads (50K or so). the only time that they have to be serviced / replaced is when they are warped / uneven already (that's why Toyota replaced them).

yup. dapat ganun eh. pero we have to give in to their request muna, if ever serious talaga yung dealer makipag negotiate for a win-win settlement. anyway, wala pa result this week eh. hopefully, makakakuha na talaga kami nang concrete result by the end of this week. kung hindi pa rin...well...bahala na ang Diyos sa kanila..

all we want talaga, is to have our RAV back.

Hmmmm.. I need to check mine too. 19k na rin kasi. baka pinalitan na without my knowledge (silent recall ba?) or kailangan sabihin so they replace it.

Sali ako diyan. Kahit street brigade sama rin ako. Before or after EB deretso sa TMP with matching placards. Effective yan when i was a political science student.

    Disable seatbelt beeping sound?
Found this on lexusownerssclub.co.uk forum for the Lexus RX and Toyota Avensis and it appears to work for European 2004 RAV4 and no doubt 2005.

    1) Turn the Power ON
    2) Set trip meter to "ODO"
    3) Power OFF
    4) Turn the Power ON
    5) Hold down the ODO/Trip button for 10 seconds
    6) While keeping the ODO/Trip button down, put the driver seatbelt on.
    7) You will see b_on / b_off choice in the ODO meter, make your choice with the ODO/Trip button

You will still get the dashboard and passengers seatbelt flashing lights if you don't put your seatbelt on.

Final note please use your seatbelt otherwise.

Does it apply oto our Philippine RAV?

    -emil-,

I wish I had that too in my CR-V :D
