features ng Vanette & Vanette SXG were the same. i think yung "Vanette" lang na name were used for 93-some95 models...

they used the "SXG" moniker sometime late 95 until they introduced the Vanette Grand Coach.

btw, the SXG only has better exterior packaging with two tone paint and 6spoke mags.

the Grand Coach on the otherhand has leather, wood and some metal accents in the interior plus CD player and CD Changer(?), standard keyless and anti theft system. has flashy chrome accents on the outside enough to be seen from the moon. hehehe j/k

Kung 150K lang yung budget mo hindi pa pasok yan sa xwind o kaya adventure. Yung Hilander SL (base model) eh nasa 250K pa ang presyo. Kung sa FX naman makakapamili ka na sa 150K bargain na lang ngayon ang FX.

hiaces, caravan/homy/urvan, spacegear, bongo friendee are 100-200 thou off your budget...pero try mo na din...may sa classified na caravan, full specs and options..owner left daw for abroad...search mo sa nissan section...baka bigay nya ng mura, way mura sa market price..

besta and grace are (for me) just the couterpart of the e2000/bongo and L300/delica respectively... nissan toyota give ok vans, toyota mas mahal lang talaga.. gas is ok, kaya lang ung local, almost torque less...diesel parang walang horse power naman...

pero ko diesels for a van, for local, manual no decent matic offered e....pregio 3.0 is a good one too.if you want space, MB100d/ssayong istana, bigger ang 140d...

masyado na mahal ang carnival/sedona and starex/l400 spacegear sa yo,e..

Yung Hyundai Grace mas ok or the Hyundai H100. analakas ng makina nyan tsaka pang-ilalim. sa parts marami din pwede mong salpakan parts ng mitsubishi.

manual, kasi lacally, di naman nagoffer diesel jap van ng auto, diba, mag cite kayo ng local diesel jap van na may matic....pregio lang, then followed by starex... and the sedona, previa, grand caravan are gasoline....

grace ka nalang...swappable pa most parts sa mitsu, doors are not....bigger ang doors ng grace than l3 exceed!nga pala may a/t variant na grace, pero bibihira, turbo diesel makina....and the extended rear grace....

tanong ko lang po uli kc medyo narrowed down n yung choice namin between Vanette or Grace , but jsut wondering kc me nakikita kc kami na mga for sale n Grace parang sobrang mura around less than PHP 200K lng yung iba(2nd hand ),

tanong ko lang po saan ba galing to subic?surplus?o local lang?

any ideas kung paaano malalaman yung local (kung meron )o yung subic o converted yung prospek namin?

Mas maraming variation ang import. May low end, high end, ambulance, panel van, etc. Kaso karamihan din bugbog na bago ma-recondition ng dealers. Pili ka na lang sa mga available na units. Madami din namang local na napabayaan and madami na ding aayusin.

Hindi ko alam ang pangalan ng mga Grace. Basta may square nun (carbon copy ng L300 Exceed LWB) at may round body (yung nasa brochure ko).

I'm still confused on choosing what van din kasi tight din ang budget ko...

But I prefer the NISSAN vanette... kaysa Lite ace since madaming nagsasabi dito sa forum na overkill sa makina ang lite ace...which yung vanette naman is ok ang makina ang problema lang nya is yung lakas ng gas at overheating.

Maraming salamat sir Always_yummy at sir Otep dami nyong naliwanagan...

sayang din naman ang 150K kung maling sasakyan ang mabili...

In terms of Power, Space and Aircon plus the looks panalo ang Vanette.

While Lite Ace , gas Guzzler * underpowered 1500 na 5K engine. Humihina aircon while running at a high speed. Pero in terms of durability and being economical panalo ang Lite Ace.

If Fuel consumption is not an issue, better choose a Vanette.
