Tatlo ang naging Lite Ace.
Base, mid-level (the most popular), and GXL.
Same drivetrain silang tatlo so same engine. Yung GXL [guys correct me if I'm wrong] merong body stripes, tailgate mounted taillamps, tailgate lock switch, rear headrests.

Yung mga huling GXL, facelift na featuring the rounder face (parang Japan look). May rear seatbelts na din.

last na natira ung gxl trim...van ba gusto mo pre? kung magkakarga ka ng mahigit sa 4, sorry, this is not for you...mga kia besta/ hyundai grace is ur bet(kia bestas are just long wheel base mazda E2000 vans, but in 2.2L diesel/2.7 diesel...hyundai grace is a cheaper version of the L300)..

yup FX mura din, pero akin lang ito,h, mas maganda kung makukuha mong FX ung napalitan na ng 2C-turbo...masmalakas kaysa sa stock local 2C...7K ok din kung gusto mo gas....baka merong nagpalit ng FX nila ng 3C-turbo or 4age/4agze!

Kia Bestas are indeed long versions of the Mazda Power Van. The 2.2 diesels are also from Mazda. It was sold as the Ford Econovan in other markets.

actually sir mga around 2 ~3 adults tska 2 children lng nman yung lagi sakay nito kaya nga gusto sana nmin ni kumander yung medyo maikli na van kasi feeling namin medyo overkill ? na yata yung L300 or longer vans gaya ng besta vans?

anyway nasa option p rin namin yung mga recommend nyo

actually, second choice ko etong liteace na ito, i, we(me and my wife) still prefer a vanette..a bit longer than any lite/town aces and e2000, but shorter than any other local vans, including my previous delica...

pero ung hinahanap ko is the LD20 turbo AWD, panoramic roof model...kaya lang its tough to find a good used specimen...then serena awd w/ cd20 and with sunroof...but ganun din mahirap maghanap, kahit kaya ng selling price ng delica ko noon...

tama si sir otep, kinda gas guzzler ang vanette...pero kung old model makuha mo, beware of the overheating prob na can be answered by adding additional aux fans...and remove mo nga ung seat between the 2nd-row cap'n chair and the last folding seats...kung mai-papasok mo ng konti ung rear-most seat is a plus....love the local version's opening rear glass..wala nun sa most JDM vanette!

dont fret, may ca20de sa banawe, pwede mo palitan ung makina ng injected kung natatakawan ka sa gaso...injected un kasama ung box...

isa pang dahilan why di ko na din pinilit maghanap ng diesel JDM vanette, ung LD20 engine and a/t is so very mahirap hanapan ng individual parts while a 2c-t including its a/t....kung may makita man akong LD20 w/at, it will cost a fortune! while ung 2c-t, 6thou lang ung a/t, 20k-28k ata ung 2c-t w/ a/t...

Yung Vanette ok lang naman. More powerful than the Lite Ace (2.0 na 90hp ata) but can be a gas guzzler. May overheating problems daw which should hopefully have been solved by the previous owner already.

Cabin is spacious enough if you remove the add-on bench jammed between the captain's chairs and the last row bench.

It also has a leafspring rear suspension which might make it a bit stiffer than the Lite Ace (which has coils).

Lite Aces are underpowered.

my tito still has one, its local. a 94 GXL MT while my tita has a Subic FXV 1.5L AT.

both are screaming GAPANG...tuwing papuntang antipolo or kahit sang may pataas.

the local has better fuel economy though 8km/l(city).... but really power isnt included in the package. kupad ito. as in.

E2000 powervan on the otherhand, a relative also has one... its powerful but drinks gas.

no diesel sa local vanette..converted meron....

sxg is ung parang model discription nya, like sa sentra: gx,ex,gt,gts,sta,sla,etc...pero dito sa atin sgx trim lang ang available....

so wag ka palito, pareho lang un...

yun ang hanap namin mag-asawa, jdm full-option LD20 full-auto AWD vanette w/ panoramic roof..pero cant find a good unit, meron man, mga nasa 300 thou pesos...kaya lang bagsak ako sa 2c-te 4wd liteace fxv...i could say perfect compromise...coming from a 4wd delica exceed...

perfect fit ang LD20 sa vanette....at i mean ang regular na vanette ay may badge na sxg...funtil 96 ata lang un, ung last models sxg rin pero dinugtungan ng "grand-coach"...

ayaw mo ba talaga ng besta/grace? or ung L3 versa van diesel...1st batch ng adventure diesel/crosswind?

Vanette SXG were later models. They used different alloy wheels (not the turbofan alloys of the early models). As for features, I'm not sure. SXG saw the availability of additional body colors and body graphics.

features ng Vanette & Vanette SXG were the same. i think yung "Vanette" lang na name were used for 93-some95 models...

they used the "SXG" moniker sometime late 95 until they introduced the Vanette Grand Coach.

btw, the SXG only has better exterior packaging with two tone paint and 6spoke mags.

the Grand Coach on the otherhand has leather, wood and some metal accents in the interior plus CD player and CD Changer(?), standard keyless and anti theft system. has flashy chrome accents on the outside enough to be seen from the moon. hehehe j/k
