There's an SRS Fault. Most common is the seat occupancy sensor.

The SRS is an electronic system, sir. Have the fault code extracted & diagnosed professionally. Try checking the harness under the front seats.

mahirap i check yan sir.. you need to remove the airbag.. you will need a torx screw! pero bago mo tanggalin, you need to verify na yung airbag talaga may problem..

sa auto ko dati may separate diagnostic plug yung airbag tapos may 2 pins ka na lalagyan ng jumper wire then mag blink yung airbag light according to the error.. may number of flashes that correspond to a specific error..

I've never seen an untouched clockspring cause SRS faults. Most modules are by the eBrake. Those that had flooding damage that module would see that light on, too.

Yup. On the UM Sorento it occurs between 50-60k kms.

Underneath the car horn in newer cars is a ribbon cable, not unlike the ribbon cables in a desktop computer. It carries the signals from steering wheel controls for the radio, the MID and of course the horn. Its wound up underneath so it literally looks like a spring used in old clocks and wind up toys. The wires are very thin and difficult to find the break so the only option is to replace the whole clockspring.

Good to know. Thanks. Never seen such. With euros, it's common to see the seat occupancy sensor fail.
