hmmm..i did 140 sa NLEX a couple of weeks back..2005 Innova-J. All stock..natutulog brother ko that time and he was freaking out when he saw my speed..partida pa nagwwiggle pa ung tires ko..may sira ata sa alignment....kapag ciguro maayos un..bka mas-mabilis pa...

^The dude's right. It's probably tire balancing. Ours used to vibrate at 100km/h. After balancing, there was no more vibration up to about 170km/h.

Hey guys, I've found out that the speed rating of the Yokohama Aspec A300 (Innova OEM) is 180km/h (S-rated). The documentation contains Australian standards, so it may be different from the standards here.

Burn some more:evil:! Happy to have done 185km/h without draft but ran out of road... New Vios with "porma" thing tailed me from 2nd and 3rd gear, at 4th gear he bit the dust. At 5th gear, he was about 8 car-lengths away. Not bad for a mom car.

ps I never save gas at any speed! I dunno why...cruising at low speeds doesn't help either...

Syempre 2nd to 3rd gear, I'll do the same (drafting) if I was on that Vios.
At 4th & 5th gear, 8-car length is too short. I'll leave a gap of at least 50 meters on that speed (150kph & up).

^Hindi naman siguro, nakasakay ako sa kolorum na Avanza dati, mukang stable naman sa 120km/h+. Sabi nila nasa 150km/h+ ang top speed ng Avanza. Nice rims dude! Nga pala, baka nasa 150km/h na takbo mo nung 140km/h yung reading ng speedo. Big rims na kasi.

thanks paps, ah ganon ba yun sir, akala ko ung takbo ko na 140 more or less 120 lang on actual speedcheck kasi mas malaki ung diameter nung alloy kesa sa goma un pala the otherway around,, pero mas mabagal po ata siya mag accelerate ngaun, though hindi nmn tlga ako madiin tumapak pero pakiramdam ko mas mahina siya ngaun.

Hi Sir, if you are talking about the present Strada 2.5 GLX D-iD 4x2, then you are correct. Stradas of this Generation can harurot up to 180kph-190kph! Proven yan in a recent fun run.

...but it also depends on the diskarte of the Driver. Maybe si "mokong" wasn't in a rush...

...but it also depends on the diskarte of the Driver. Maybe si "mokong" wasn't in a rush...

Probably...

Stradas can go real fast! It just takes a longer distance 'coz it's a diesel, and they don't have so much top-end grunt like gas engines. It's pretty much the same story on all diesels except Audis and BMWs...

Yung Toyota Commuter D4D namin 2.5 same din ng Innova ang engine di ba? Naka 160kph ako sa SCTEX normal speed ko is 140kph then sumusundot ako ng 160kph. Yung driver naman namin naka 180kph. Believe it or not. Sayang walang tachometer kaya di ko alam kung redline na.
