Alang pakialam mga drivers dito kahit nanginginig na ang makina dahil nasa high gear pero low speed naman sila. Nakakakiliti sa katawan tuloy sumakay sa mga taxi dito, hehehe

Bro hindi nakakaganda sa FC pag nanginginig na yung makina at high gear & low rpm. May point of diminishing returns ang kahit anong internal combustion engine. At high gear and low rpm you are burning more fuel but not getting the same thrust from operating it at the correct rpm range for that gear.

... New Vios with "porma" thing tailed me from 2nd and 3rd gear, at 4th gear he bit the dust. At 5th gear, he was about 8 car-lengths away. Not bad for a mom car.

ps I never save gas at any speed

! I dunno why...cruising at low speeds doesn't help either...

Our Innova diesel got the best FC while running at 80kph constantly but that was crazily tiring for me (too slow) for an open highway.

After that, i just drive at whatever speed keeps me comfortable.

Lagging the engine at too low RPMs will increase your fuel consumption as you'll be pressing the gas more to get moving and a lot of fuel will not be burnt properly.

The speed trap moved again last Sunday to the are right after the road crest near Sta. Rita exit. He's really been busy.

We also tried to stay at 80km/h, but it was really weird seeing every other vehicle overtake us. Hehehe...it yielded about 10km/L on mixed driving. When cruising at 120km/h or more, the car yields about 9km/L, also mixed driving.

experience ko naman nung mag drive ako ng Innova d4d tahimik naman at 140Kph sa Star tollway, puno pa kami nun with balikbayan boxes, baligtad nga eh I was content with 80 kph pero yung mga kasama ko ang naiinip

^Nakakatulong magpabilis yung drafting kasi yung kotse sa harap ang sumasalo ng hangin. Kaya yung kotse sa likod, mas mabilis umarangkada. -Copy-paste sa Toyota Top Speed Thread

140kph slex...3700+ rpm very stable pa naman yung handling ng sasakyan
kaya lang ramdam bawat lubak at uneven road kahit maliit..

hmmm..i did 140 sa NLEX a couple of weeks back..2005 Innova-J. All stock..natutulog brother ko that time and he was freaking out when he saw my speed..partida pa nagwwiggle pa ung tires ko..may sira ata sa alignment....kapag ciguro maayos un..bka mas-mabilis pa...
