January 12th, 2015 11:34 AM #9802Thanks *frequency and *CVT for the replies. Although I prefer the low-sulfur ng Euro4 diesel fuel for environmental reasons, nag-aalangan pa rin ako sa small oil players lalo na sa fuel handling and specially after reading through the dirty fuel issues. But after reading your comments, try ko rin, siguro mixed with my current fuel from Caltex.
BTW, I'm also getting 10km/l sa city driving (usually hatid-sundo sa mga bata, 10km / trip from UP-SM North-UP. Best FC ko pa lang ay 11.1 km/l from QC to Porac (not tipid mode), same with QC to Baras via Antipolo. Paano ba ang tipid mode? Gusto ko itaas sa 13km/l sana sa pagpunta namin sa Tagaytay this weekend.

my innova is almost 3 years old. still on the original tires, but they look evenly worn to me. did you have your camber/caster checked? also bushings, etc.

January 13th, 2015 12:13 AM #9805Ganyan din front tires ko eversince bnew, mabilis maubos outer tread, ala naman problema sa camber, straight as arrow, no wiggle even at top speed.
Rotate ko na lang every 5k, kada adjust ng rear brakes, then flip inside out the uneven wearing tires.
Sana disk brakes rear ng innova ng dina kelangan adjust.

January 13th, 2015 02:10 AM #9806is it possible, it is the way you drive, sir?
making very lively use of the steering wheel might be contributing to the front tires' wear..
or all that bouncing around wears out the front tires faster..
i remember years ago.. mitsu pick-up owners used to complain how fast their front tires wore out..

January 13th, 2015 03:44 AM #9807Yes, naisip ko din na baka dahil sa over use ako ng manibela. Yung tipong pag liko eh kahit hindi klangan isagad, naisasagad ko ang manibela sa slow turns.

RWD ang Innova kasi,- and so, high speed curves put heavy toll on the front tyres (dahil passive sila)....
Yup,- more frequent tyre rotation ang katapat....

January 14th, 2015 05:48 AM #9809Akala ko ako lang may problema nito with my 2011 Innova at 23K mileage. Na noticed ko to last month, pudpod yung outer thread parehas sa front tire then dinala ko sa talyer and they adjusted yung camber. But may na noticed akong unusual after that, parang naging medyo malikot manibela ko specially kapag rough road. Parang pakiramdam ko kapag nalubak ng konti yung front tire gumagalaw din yun manibela.

I'm curious, how did your talyer adjusted the camber? Because, it seems that a new issue came up after the adjustment. Better go back and have it check again or visit an autoshop that specialized in wheel alignment (ie, servitek).
