^^^ and also lose finite control of the accelerator. How can constantly tapping the accelerator be more comfortable than keeping it steady?

July 5th, 2014 07:29 PM #8947Gusto mo sir ng engineering na sagot or yung pang layman's term?
Engineering:
Sir, may PID controller po an mga electronically injected engines, meaning po kapag nagbitaw ka or nagdiin ka, hindi agad yan magrereact ang engine (reaction time depends on the ECU program) kasi the system will check first all the current analog fata such as fuel air mixture, exhaust gas components, engine temperature, engine rpm etc... Another, because of the PID, yung current input mo, will be also check first against the current, recurring and previous data para smooth ang transition ng engine to the new speed (smooth in term na hindi sacrificed ang emmission, fuel consumption etc..).
Layman's term:
May sariling isip ang engine controller para sya mismo ang magcompensate sa pag apak mo.
PID = Proportional Integral Derivative Controller
Anyway marami yan, may filter system pa yan, pwedeng Kalman ang gamit.. etc...

July 5th, 2014 07:33 PM #8948The finite control can be there or not, unless otherwise you grap the pedal output voltage against time, dyan lang natin malalaman..
The controller can either change the slope of the line (curve) or elevate the voltage levels linearly.

July 5th, 2014 10:04 PM #8949ok naman sprint booster no need to argue, as I have said lahat nakausap ok daw ito hapi daw sila.
Di bale na lang sa net, may complaint iba na may cruise control, nawawalan ng silbi yung sb device or the other way around.
pero kung ipipilit mo sir about lag or delay sa oem, some will disagree including me, theres no lag in input the delay (almost), because they consider the crawling traffic but the delay, what milliseconds? no driver can tell that difference, unless you have superpowers.
the sb response can be replicate by the quickness of foot, for me I dont feel the lag/hesitation that the sb wants to eliminate coz I mashed the pedal If I want speed.

Throttle enhancing devices benefits those who are in racing where all those engineering mumbo jumbo makes sense. This is where every millisecond matters. Some people just want to have it all, they buy a budget diesel family vehicle and expect to run it like a sports car. Same people who buy and economy car with a puny engine and then wonder if it has enough power to overtake or climb all up multilevel parking structures.
It's the same people who are making too much fuss about license plate covers in the other thread.Last edited by Walter; July 5th, 2014 at 10:37 PM.
i wonder, are the usual published suspension adjustment specifications supposed to be adjusted...
